Located in the heart of downtown Long Beach, Radish is a celebration of the agricultural spirit of the Gulf Coast and the unlikely connection between a charming coastal town and the humble root vegetable that put it on the map. Nineteenth-century farmers took advantage of the L&N Railroad and the opportunity to ship the fruits of their labor northward. The favored Yankee bar snack of the day was a long scarlet radish dipped in luxurious butter and coarse salt. The good times lasted until Prohibition, when local bars shuttered and demand for the Long Beach Red dried up. Today, Radish embraces time-honored techniques and traditions to create an ingredient-driven menu that showcases what it means to eat and drink in the south.

Quaint little place, and stopped in for lunch, glad we did, the drinks were good, the lunch menu was divine. Nice little spot. Everything we got was really good. Those Pork belly burnt ends are . The burgers good and the crab cake sandwich was amazing. Also always get the special. It’s pretty much guaranteed to be good.

An exceptional experience. Small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and fine dining food. From start to finish, everything we tasted and how we were treated was top notch. As someone who lives in Tokyo, I’d put Radish with some of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. If you live on the coast, this place is a gem that you’ll regret passing up.

Wow what an experience! We had a date night and went crazy. I think everything on the menu that peaked our interest we ordered. The Radish appetizer is AMAZING. The whupped goat cheese is to die for. The crab binettes were fantastic, but I think maybe a little heavy on the pepper jelly. We got the fried potato salad, little cubes of crispy fluffy potato tossed in just the right amount of fat, and finished with super crispy almonds. My porkchop set was amazing! How do you go wrong with cheese grits and collards. My partner loved her fish dish and it was very pretty. The cheesecake dessert was perfect, but we were not a fan of the mochi brownie. Our server was running the entire dining room, taking care of the bar, making drinks, and doing everything by herself. It was impressive because we never felt ignored or rushed or anything. Erica is an absolute Rockstar and this restaurant is a must visit if you get the opportunity.

Radish was delicious, my server Cristina was amazing. The food was incredible. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a very sweet atmosphere. One thing I will say is it’s not cheap however, for the amount of food you get and the quality it is definitely worth it. Cocktails were incredible as well.

One of the best meals I’ve had in south MS. Everything was delicious from the complimentary cornbread, to the pork belly, to the fried green tomatoes and the duck! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Some of the best food we have had on the Ms Gulf Coast!! Cobia, crab beignets, Radisj Burger and the gnocchi were all absolutely delicious! We stumbled upon this place and were very surprised by the techniques and quality. Delicious handmade cocktails with fresh ingredients. We will absolutely be back !

Stellar Service, Food, and Cocktails! This place is really special. Located in Downtown Long Beach Mississippi, the motif is an eclectic blend of a modern vibe and turn of the century soda fountain/pharmacy. Not many places earn a gold star ⭐️ for their cocktails from me and this place did not disappoint. We had the Old Fashioned and the Club Clover. Both perfection. The egg white on the Club Clover was tastefully done, making its presence known without being obnoxious. Perfectly layered libations. Kudos to the bartender. We started with the Molasses Cornbread with Gold Tap Honey Butter (spoon bread ) [insert drool face] and the pork belly. Entrees consisted of the NOLA Style BBQ Shrimp and the Café Burger. The bbq shrimp was classic southern fare and did not disappoint but The Burger… which was served with rosemary and garlic fries really stole the show. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t wait to return with more room to try the desserts!
