A wonderful meal! Very friendly staff and great service! My family was passing through while on vacation and this place was recommended to us. The Ranch House Club was quite delicious along with the Ham and Cheese Melt, and the Chicken Fried Steak. Everything was made exactly as we ordered it and was served in a timely manor. We will be returning if we pass through again!

Stopped in here this afternoon for a late lunch. The hostess was nice and friendly. We ate on the patio since it was a beautiful day. It was nice and relaxing. I had the Santa Fee burger. It was FANTASTIC! The burger was huge and so delicious. My drink never sat empty, the service was wonderful. If you’re ever in Hardin, make sure to stop!

We stopped here on our way out west, as we were tired of fast food and were looking for a dog-friendly restaurant with a patio. The food was excellent, all home made! Fried pickles were quite good! Also has a very nice indoor dining room. Service was quite good and we had a nice chat with the very friendly owners.

Highly, highly recommended. Driving back from Billings to Sheridan I stopped at this small Diner on the Main Street it’s very nicely decorated inside and out. You have to wait to be seated and I was seated immediately and the place was crowded. The menu looks great. It’s the perfect selection. This restaurant focuses on just several specialties you are not overwhelmed and I believe it gives the cook time to focus on select meals so that he has the time to perfectly prepare them. I had a steak and my friend had chicken fried steak. Both of us ordered a salad and iced tea. Both of us commented that the tea was fantastic somebody knows how to make tea there I bet they steep the tea and that’s the way you’re supposed to do it. My steak was ordered medium rare and it was perfect I usually use A1 steak sauce but it would have been messed up if I had used sauce. The chicken-fried steak was golden brown and both of our portions were more than we could eat we couldn’t finish it. now who would make a comment about French fries I mean that’s kind of a common thing but my friend had french fries with his chicken fried steak and he gave one to me and both of us thought they were awesome they weren’t greasy they were crunchy and crisp and full of taste. Oddly I don’t crave steak right now but having written about those fries I want some of that cooks fries right now even as I’m writing this review. there’s a fireplace inside and it’s very nicely decorated in the seating is very comfortable and the staff was super nice the cook even came out and I noticed he was talking to people at the tables and he came by our table asking how things were and my friend gave him great praise on the chicken fried steak but especially the french fries I think he’s a french fry connoisseur. I added this place to Google Maps because I want to know and remember where this place is because it’s going to be my halfway stop even if it’s not halfway on my trips to and from Billings Montana to Sheridan Wyoming. please give this place a chance I read some of these reviews and I don’t understand the negative reviews not in the least little bit. my daddy always said if you do your work be proud of it so proud that you would put your name on it. I didn’t do the cooking I did the eaten but it’s rare that I give a great review five stars to a restaurant so I’m going to put my name on it and my name is Richard Corbin.

Great food. We had Country Fried Steak and Grilled Cheese. Portions were just enough with plenty of sides to go with the order. The milkshakes were out of this world good. Mandy being the only waitress provided good service for all the tables she had to cover. Will go here again when we are back in town.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner very much. We were passing through town on vacation. The NY strip and chicken fried steak were both good. Sides were good too. Our server, Kari, was very attentive. Definitely recommend a visit.

When we got there, no one was around. We were nervous but stayed. They had several signs saying, “Sorry, we are out of all steaks.” None of us wanted steaks, but…interesting.

My wife and I ate at the Ranch House Grill two nights while visiting the Little Big Horn Battlefield. Service was a little quicker than average I’d say. Catfish was real good the first night. The second night we shared the brisket nachos, hands down the best nachos I’ve ever had!! The T-Bone steak had a perfect med-rare cook that I ordered, beef was great quality, taste was really good. Both nights had very quick and friendly service with great food. Excellent country cooking.

I ordered food here tonight and the shakes were watered down by the time i got home and i only live a few blocks away. They tasted funky (greasy) and the strawberry banana was missing the strawberry. The soup was not homemade that was obvious it was from a can. I would love to know what food is actually homemade and not poured from a can. The first time i went in there the service was terrible it took 45 minutes to get my food and i got my main dish before my appetizer so i thought I’d try take out but don’t think I’ll do it again. Wish the owners around here took more pride in their business and hired people for their work ethic and not their last name or because their related. Hopefully it gets better for those that do eat there in the future.
