Let me tell you, I’m a season women who love the kitchen. I must say my family and I stopped while traveling and found this “Gem” of Soul food the BEST in Florida! Everything was seasoned perfectly and Huge portions. The cornbread OMG! If you live in the CoCo area, please support this establishment. We will definitely be back. Blessings from the Miller Family.

OMG! What a huge amount of food! It’s so fresh too! The fried fish was moist and had a light floured crust. The candied yam’s were really sweet with nutmeg and clove spices. The cabbage was really good too. Now for the best of the best. I absolutely loved the collard greens! I generally don’t like them. But these were delicious! They weren’t greasy at all! Last but not least is the nice fluffy moist cornbread. It just makes this meal all the better. All this cost about $20 including the drink and a 15% tip. I’m definitely going back for more

VISIT: 7/14/23 around 1300: Early dinner for me, I hadn’t eaten all day: First time visit and definitely NOT my last! Delicious…Tasty…Fresh…Hot and SEASONED food for your SOUL ❤️ ! I had the most pleasant, courteous young lady take my order, who greeted me as soon as I walked in. Whoever raised her, did well ☺️. My order was prepared fast and it was handed to me with a smile! The tables, floor and counter were clean and organized. I actually prefer smaller establishments. You can dine-in or take-out. I traveled almost 22 miles for this hidden gem and will do it again in a heartbeat! KUDOS for all-around great service and food. My meal consisted of tender, smothered pork chops (2 large ones, mind you), the best candied yams I have had in for-ever, cornbread, a very large portion of gizzards, large side of mac and cheese, which was absolutely delicious and a side of lima beans! All that for around $15-$17 dollars. The portions were large enough and sufficient for two people, actually. I went in thinking I would have to buy two separate meals for 2 people but one was enough I thought anyways. I expected to pay more and would have, honestly, if needed ️.

The food was amazing. I had smothered pork chops and the wife has the meatloaf. We ordered fried green tomatoes, and they were very good. I had mac-n-cheese and fried okra. Both were amazing. My wife had dressing and the mac-n-cheese. The dressing was as good as Mom makes it! Everything comes in to go containers, but don’t let that stop you. This is an absolute must try.

Stopped by today for a late lunch. I am not well versed on soul food but from what I hear it is very good. I had the gravy smothered pork chops over a bed of rice with a side of cabbage and macaroni and cheese. Chef’s Kitchen is the real deal. The portion size was enormous. You get a lot for what you pay for. The food was fabulous. I could order a bowl of that gravy and drink it. That gravy was a homerun. I met the chef. I think the said his name was Mike. He was very personable and passionate in what he does. I will definitely be back. Next time I am trying the gravy smothered meatloaf. Don’t sleep on this place. They are the real deal!
