Grinder is FIRE!!! Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Everything they put on that bomb bread is so good. Grinder is for sure one of two of the best sandwich spots in El Cajon(won’t mention the other). Godfather with everything is the way to go! Definitely the place to go if you’re craving a Sammy in east county.

We recently went here for my husband. We have been having nothing but hard times of late. Family loss, personal injuries, you name it and its been dealt to us. None the less we swung by just to grab some lunch.. and Tyler, the young man working, was amazing. He was genuinely a breath of fresh air. The man has respect, courtesy, and goes above and beyond for his customers. Thank you for the excellent service and food.

Been here several times since I’ve moved back from Texas and all I can say is that this place is much better than Subway. There meats are fresh, veggies and bread too. I’ve never had a Sandwich that they messed up on the order. They always make them right for my family and I. I always order the big one cause in case I don’t have a big enough appetite, I can finish it later and the bread is not soggy. There are times I’ve finished it and the fullness lasts for 2 meals. Great customer service too. The price is more than subway , but like I said, these are much tastier and more delicious than subway.

Very close to the Grinders from back home, good meat and great taste. Fresh bread that has that soft n chewy texture but not too soft. Fast service and great selections. If you want a no nonsense sub this is the place to go.
