A cute little hole-in-the-wall, family-owned Mexican food restaurant, with a great location near fun beaches. Service was friendly and excellent. There are two small tarles to eat inside, and another small set outside, but probably best to grab and go. I had high expectations for food from the reviews here, but was very underwhelmed… Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing?

Best chili verde burrito ever!! (Be sure to add cheese— no beans and/or rice. Just cheese and the chili verde. I promise! It’s perfect!) Also, *each bite* should be enjoyed with their homemade pico de gallo and green sauce! Their tortillas are homemade daily! Try them with butter—OMG! Yum!!

I would give chacho’s 10 Stars if I could and I rarely say that… This is a classic mom-and-pop family run Mexican restaurant on highway 1 in oceano probably less than a mile south of Pier Ave…. It’s hard to believe it but probably the item I order most would just be a bean and cheese burrito… I’ve never had a better bean and cheese burrito anywhere on Earth and I grew up in LA… The key is the homemade tortillas… If you’re planning on going there don’t wait until too late because they close pretty early and frequently are sold out of the tortillas by late afternoon… They only have a few seats inside and out and ample parking.. grab your food and take it down to the beach ️.. The Burger and fries are amazingly good but it really doesn’t matter because anything you order is going to be amazing for the best experience call in your order 20 minutes before you get there

Chachos is one of our go-to Mexican Restaraunt’s on the central coast. Classic hole-in-the-wall greatness. From the homemade butter tortillas to the chicken tacos to the spicy green salsa, it doesn’t get much better. Try it, trust me.
