Best gyro ever! I’ve been to a ton of places that specialize in gyros, and they always seem to be out of balance: so much meat that you have to eat it with a fork, the wrong kind of onions, or tomatoes that are cut into wedges. But at Arby’s, the gyro is constructed with the sandwich approach: thinly sliced red onions, good ripe tomatoes (even in March!), a thin, even layer of sauce, and just the right proportion of meat to bread. This is a gyro that you can eat right out of the wrap, without having to rearrange or remove the filling. Even the pita bread itself is soft, but structured enough to hold everything in place, to the last bite.
