Love love love this place!! I went there with a group, which is definitely the way to go because you can get multiple dishes and share. First of all the Bloody Mary is spicy and absolutely delicious! It is also strong!! Then we shared a bunch of stuff, including chilaquiles, a Reuben, a burger, the French toast, and the mini donuts. I can’t even decide which was my favorite, it was all outstanding! Definitely make a reservation, this place gets really crowded on the weekends. I will be back!

Made an online reservation for 1pm brunch on a Wednesday. There’s a small gift shop inside the restaurant, which has a very nice interior decor. We sat at a table in the outdoor area, and the staff wiped the tables before we sat down. Started the meal with cappuccino with oak milk and small donuts, which were soft and taste pretty good. Ordered the Eggs Florentine with a side of chicken apple sausage. The eggs were nicely poached served with hollandaise sauce on half slides of sourdough bread with a side of mixed green salad. I like the two mildly sweet sausages. Service was good. Check was paid at the table with a handheld device.

I usually go to the Grand Lake location but tried this one instead today for brunch, food was delicious and well seasoned, pictured is the Hank Plate and the French Toast. Eggs were super good, potatoes came out hot, bacon was 10/10. French toast was well made and the fruit was fresh and yummy, only thing is I wish it came out a little hotter. They also use real maple syrup here which I love. Wait was very short and our total was $33

Good food but I’m not sure if price matches value on all of the menu items. Nice atmosphere and generally a very attentive staff. Small outside seating area facing the street, large bar, and ample diner inspired seating inside.

Update to the review below… After a second visit here we decided it’s not worth it. It started with the fact that a Del Cielo Hazy IPA was $13. I’m not against paying good money for good beer, and this is a good beer, but typically that that very beer is $7 at a taproom and maybe $8 at a restaurant. They’re pompous here.

I was disappointed. The lettuce was wet and brown therefore my bun was wet also. Because I had waited so long GLK just throw everything together at the last minute. Hahahahaha The lettuce is sticking on the side of the carry out. Overall the appearance of the hamburger was also disappointing, One slice of cheese throughly melted into the meat. I ate the meal and it was over priced ($25) The wait time was 25 minutes they didn’t care because I already tipped. And unfortunately the meat was not cooked completely . The server asked —-“do a need any napkins or ANYTHING else. “

Great neighborhood spot. One of my go-tos for breakfast or lunch, can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Delicious libations as well!

Both GLK locations are dope. The Dimond location however is a vibe. Swanky, fresh, and clean. Clean lines, cool fit and finish, light and bright with the right contrast of greens and browns. A real tasty joint. Today the pastrami Benedict was delicious. The pastrami was the star. The sourdough wasn’t soft enough but a beautiful dish nonetheless. Everyone at the table loved the burger, the eggs, and the Matzo ball soup. No stranger to this place. I try to visit at least monthly. GLK does not disappoint. Salud my friends.
