Our food was AWESOME and Ash was an amazing worker. She was the ONLY person there as a server, cook , cashier, and for the hotel. She was a very happy woman working her butt off for the guests who arrived. She managed 4 tables as well as the hotel guests checking in. She deserves a bonus. Any other person at a restaurant in her situation would have locked the doors and left. Kudos to you ash. You’re greatly appreciated and we will be coming back.

Walked in after a weekend of camping. Tired and hungry. Had a group of nine including children and were flat out told not to come in. “They wouldn’t be able to serve us.” They were already a small restaurant but shut down half the restaurant because they were short staffed. We were willing to wait and be patient but the direct rudeness of the waitress and the absolute disregard for any type of civility or kindness was shocking. Hope you guys can turn this around and maybe get some staff to serve your clients. Otherwise maybe just don’t open, especially on a Sunday if you are just going to be rude and reject hungry paying customers. Glad we left. We had an amazing breakfast and great service at Lovettsville Diner.

Food was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Place looked clean, but there were ants on floor, seats and tables. Will probably order takeout next time.

I love coming here to sit & enjoy a meal like my mom made & not pay astronomical $$$. Unfortunate staffing issues have kept me from dinning here. I would suggest to serve seated Patrons with to go wear. That would aleavate clean up alot. For the most part cooking only. Patrons take trash from tables. I believe it would help both Penny’s & the Patron.

Prompt and courteous service in a sparkling clean old- school diner environment. We enjoyed fresh bewed coffee in thick ceramic cups and plates of piping hot comfort food. We recommend!

Excellent! I had the fries, chili and some coffee. Crunchy fries although not my favorite were good. The chili was fantastic as it was tasty yet not damaging to my stomach. I have a very acute olfactory and can smell cumin from miles away. I don’t like cumin. This had cumin and it was so subtle I didn’t mind it at all! The coffee was good so I asked for a to go cup. The place is clean and the service was friendly and prompt. I will go back again.

I wanted my eggs And pancake well done. Notta. The pancake was done a second time. The eggs were overly done a 3rd time. And the bacon and hash browns were perfect. She tried hard. She was nice.
