Very relaxed atmosphere and GREAT food. First day in Hawaii and after a 6hour the food hit the spot. up from all 6 kids in our group of 10 and Very happy parents. We will definitely come back before we leave the island. Carne asada tacos were great, filling and Loaded with all the toppings, Chicken tacos were a hit with my kids, and the rice wife said it’s like if her mom made it. . The Birria tacos were also very full of meat and filling.

I ordered two of the ‘The Works’ plate & the food was to die for! Awesome food, portions, and pricing! To finish, we got slices of flan, and it’s the best flan my girlfriend and I have ever tasted! If I could give it 6 stars, I would! Authentic Mexican restaurant for sure!

It was such a cute little taqueria on the outskirts of Honolulu. The chicken taco was amazing, perfectly cooked with fresh lime to squeeze on top, and the corn tortilla didn’t fall apart as I was eating. The person at the counter was incredibly nice, and the food came out so quickly.

Try this place now! It is in a seriously industrial neighborhood with little parking, but it is worth every bit of the trouble. I expected another plate lunch place with a mildly Mexican slant. The surprise came upon entering. The decor is handsome and clean, and the staff was there with a friendly greeting.

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! located in the middle of the commercial district of Kalihi this small Mexican restaurant makes food fresh when you order. I came back a second day in a row because they have different specials depending on what’s fresh and to switch up the menu.
