This restaurant was filthy top to bottom. My steaks were both not cooked properly. Pan seared not an open flame. Brussel sprouts were hard and not good. Not to mention $130 plus tip for mediocre food.

The food was very good, and the service was incredibly friendly! We had 10 in our group, and everyone walked away knowing they had had a good meal. The restaurant lighting was a little dim, and made things a little hard to see, but other than that it was a very nice meal!

This is a great little secret in Oxford. It’s tucked out of the way a bit and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food was quite good. There are some collectible WSP posters in the bar area (if you know, you know). The service was spot on. Dan was courteous and attentive. They have a well stocked bar, too. I’ve had slightly better steaks, but my filet was seasoned and cooked to delicious. They run specials on certain steaks on Monday nights, so give your taste buds and your wallet a treat at Kings.

Went to kings just out on a limb without a reservation we had to sit at the bar due to the restaurant being super busy which was no issue for us. I ordered a 22oz porterhouse and my steak was very much over cooked but the staff went way beyond what was necessary to correct the issue. When we got ready to leave we tried to tip our bartender and I was a little confused when he refused our tip until he told us he was the owner. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an owner as dedicated as this gentleman was very rarely do you see an owner out in the restaurant busting his butt serving customers along side his employees. We passed the tip on to another bartender/waiter and had a conversation with the owner. Despite the error the food and service was phenomenal you get what you pay for. We definitely will be back.

This place is an alternative to square dining and offers genuinely good food. Overall a great pick if looking for a restaurant that is conveniently located away from the square. Very good char-grilled oysters and the New York strip was amazing! Would definitely recommend!
