We’ve been coming here for Karaoke for years now. We absolutely love Stick’s Entertainment karaoke nights, and wish he hosted more evenings. I still have lots of fun with the other karaoke hosts in the karaoke room, but that main stage show is so much fun! We love the new owners and the improvements made. Please fix the stall in the girls bathroom that doesn’t lock yet. Food is SO much better recently, we have enjoyed the food every time we’ve been out recently.

So The BoxCar Is Very New To Madison.. Yes it’s the Old Station.. New Owners & BoxCar is taking off.. Good Food & Music plus Great People to meet or even your crowd.. If you smoke that is completely fine, It’s not smokey like other bars.. Karaoke & Live Bands..

Went for karaoke. We had four with us. Very friendly door man and bartender. We are from out of town but treated very nice. We were amazed at the murals painted in the karaoke room and wished we had taken photos. Please put them on your website. They are something to be proud of.

Another edit: Bumped the review back up to four stars because Sticks is back. Would have given five but he’s only there on Fridays. Bummer because we can’t make it out on many Fridays. New management too since our last visit too. Many visible changes. Still wish the bathrooms were a little cleaner, but they’re definitely better than what they were.

Nice chill spot. Live band, karaoke room, & an outdoor bar as well with a dj. Food was good and hot, we also had a very nice bartender. I’m definitely coming back here.
