Back in 80s, I used to come to chanos in Monterey Park but they closed. I had no idea they sprung backup until a school fund raising event and it was delicious. I came back to try the actual place itself on the weekend and even better. Asada is cooked great and good portions. Can’t wait to come back to try more

1st timer at Chano’s i must say the food was great ordered a green chili carnitas burrito also wanted to try their alpastor so I ordered 2 tacos also a combination plate two crunchy tacos rice beans so filling and delicious yes we will return oh I would’ve gave them 5stars if they had more seating

They messed on my chicken tacos twice, the first time the chicken was cold, I realized when I got home and took a bite, I walked back to the place ,I should of checked knowing it’s a good place to eat and figured they got it right. But nope I got carnitas tacos instead of the chicken, I was disappointed, but I took a bit and realized the texture of the meat was different, when I opened it it was the pork. I didn’t have time to go back I had to go to work. So for future reference please check your food before you leave because you never know.

It was our first time coming here for breakfast. The owner was the cashier and her approach to us was very rude!! which made me have a weard feeling in my stomach. I didn’t even wanted to eat there anymore. We were rushed in a very rude way to order our food. We spend almost $40dlls for 2 chorizo and egg plates and 1 meat quesadilla. The chorizo was dry and the quesadilla was cheese less..lol

Food was dry including the hand made tortillas! The owner was rude and made us feel like we were not welcome. I was embarrassed because I took my girlfriend and she had a bad experience with food and servive!! I wont be going back here!

I visited Chanos for the very first time and it was good. Out front they were making tortillas from scratch. I got the lunch special which included two items (i chose tacos, rice, beans and a drink). It was pretty filling. The tacos are individually $2.79 but are a good size compared to other places that are less than that. I will probably return again.

I ordered two hard tacos After I finished eating one I saw a piece of moldy cheese that fell in the wrapping paper. When I opened the second taco, I found another piece of moldy cheese inside. Hopefully I won’t get sick

Affordable and good. Tlayuda is a favorite group dish. They don’t serve mini tacos but they do have medium tacos which is about the size of 2 minis. My only complaint is that their large drink has been reduced to almost half in size while still costing over $3 after tax since the pandemic..
