Fantastic new location for high quality cajun food including an exquisite brunch menu. Started brunch of with the mimosa flight and bloody marry which were all well crafted drinks. We then moved on to the small plates which were all beautifully plated. The pork belly Benedict was perfectly cooked with a skillful balance of flavors, the crawfish wontons were tasty and crispy, the chicken and waffles were perfect and a sweet potato hash that was a favorite and would highly recommend. Was similarly impressed by the dinner menu, the gator bites and/or gator potstickers are a must order. Very much look forward to coming back for more and highly recommend

I ordered carry-out. The place seemed to have a nice ambiance while I sat and waited for my order. The staff was friendly and courteous. Now on to the food….I ordered the Cajun rice, fried green tomato salad, alligator, blackened chicken wings and the mac & cheese. The rice was ok. I was expecting a bit more kick and spice, but it was good. In my opinion, I’ve made better Cajun rice at home. The fried green tomatoes could have been softer in texture. These were apple crunchy and too me, it was a bit much for a fried green tomato. They need to be prepared with they are “just right” on the ripeness gauge. I was disappointed with the alligator, as it was way too tough. I’ve had alligator at different establishments, in various states and it’s always had a nice texture, until I had it at Bayou Kitchen. Not sure what’s going on with their alligator meat. The blackened chicken wings had an ok flavor. The best item on my order by far was the mac & cheese. Tremendous flavor and creaminess. I would most definitely order the mac & cheese again. The meal was ok, but I was expecting a wow factor, which was not attained.

A wonderful restaurant experience. Every person who I spoke with was fantastic in regards to service. The quality of food was excellent. A unique menu for the area makes this a must visit. It was a great place to celebrate my anniversary, I will return.

Love the vibe and the patio where you can smoke on Wednesdays. The Alligator nachos were really good, and our server was as well. Too bad the kitchen was slow this particular evening so that’s why I had to take off a star, however the food was delicious when it did arrive. The drinks could be better here in my opinion. I will say that if your looking for a vibe in Loudoun County this place provides that.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here with our kids. They loved trying gator and we enjoyed the different preparation of it in the potstickers. The cocktails were the real winner here with incredible presentation. The beignets were hot, fresh, and delicious. Our server rocked and was so accommodating to our family. My daughter even felt compelled to write a review to show her. A fun atmosphere and certainly all in on the New Orleans theme. Definitely will be back!

Drinks and the food were both incredible! We shared the fried mussels and alligator as an appetizer, which were plated really nicely and were delicious! For an entrée, I had the shrimp etouffee which had such a creamy and flavorful sauce. I also had the Long Way to Go cocktail which was also really good! The burnt orange slice is a really nice addition to the cocktail. My husband had the Bayou pasta which had thick pappardelle (different than what some other review photos show, but my husband said he preferred the pappardelle.) For a drink, had the Hurry-Cane cocktail which was also tasty.

This was my first time here. I wanted to try their brunch menu. The atmosphere and ambiance are great. There’s a lot of space between the tables so you don’t feel over crowded. The music helps make it more vibrant and enjoyable.

My husband and I came here for our first date night out in quite some time (thanks to a gift card for Christmas!) and had a lovely time. The food was on point – my hubs thoroughly enjoyed the short rib special, and I the shrimp and grits, divine even sans meat which they accommodated for my pesca diet. The Boudin balls and oysters were also very tasty! The waiter was the perfect amount of attentive and fun, getting answers to our questions with total willingness and a smile. I made a reservation but we were seated at one of the smallest tables in the restaurant – normally not a big deal except my husband is 6’5. He was uncomfortable, so definitely clarify when making the reservation if you want a bigger table. We were especially excited to try the drinks, as we are craft cocktail enthusiasts and constantly struggle finding upscale bevies stateside that match that of cities overseas.. especially close to us in Loudoun! The drinks we got were mostly solid, though mention any allergies as some off-menu liberties were taken in preparation. We got the smoked cherry old fashioned and NY sour, both pretty good though the OF could’ve used more simple/bitters balance. They seemed to still be getting into a rhythm. Overall, everyone was very very kind, down to the hostesses, and food & drink wonderful. And as someone else mentioned, I also noticed the general manager circulating and assisting the staff, so that was nice to see. We will return!!
