On a Saturday night this place was packed with a line to get in. Despite that we were seated in just a few minutes.

Not sure why this was rated as low as it was, I found this experience to be particularly excellent. Our server was excellent, the food absolutely delicious and great menu choices, the seating was so comfy and you had a choice of dining table, couches or outside seating (weather permitting of course). Everything flowed efficiently and the food came out at a really good pace. The atmosphere has a relaxed vibe. We chose the couches with a nice (about) 360 view of the city. What’s not to like? I know this place is newer or maybe people dolidnt know what to expect. This would make a great date spot or a casual social lunch with friends.

Chips are delicious, not a huge fan of the salsa. Guava margaritas are super yummy. Tacos are ok… not great.

We went the worst possible day, sinko de drinko. Packed. The staff worked their tails off, and even though it took a long time to get seated and served, we were checked in on often and made as comfortable as possible. Fantastic job people, you were excellent. When I said we’ll be back, it’s a promise. Oh, the place is very nice, upscale yet comfortable, although loud. I was amazed how they had just a tornado of activity the whole time we were there, swirling around us like crazy, we were very comfortable, a fun environment.

Carlita’s has good food and it’s busy ( even on a week night). Our server was lovely but inundated. Mad props for her hard work but expect a bit of a wait for food and drinks. The happy hour is a great deal and if you get an opportunity, go to the speakeasy for amazing cocktails

The reviews of this place after opening weren’t favorable. I assume it was because they were trying to work things out after recently opening . We went with our adult kids to happy hour on a Friday evening. It was really amazing! They sat us at one of the couch areas. Ordered margaritas and other drinks and got three (free with drinks) orders of chips and salsa throughout our dinner. The tropical one was the best! The tacos were also really great. They are gourmet kind of like Tacovore here in Eugene. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. We went at 4:30 and on a weekend I would recommend that! It was really getting crowded by the time we left! Another cool addition to 5th St!

Nice view is about all.I can say. With $15 for Watertown drinks that were boring and $16 appetizers, this place is overpriced. The ahi tuna ceviche was very fishy, watery and.bland. The tacos all tasted the same. Chips were okay but the salsa watery, runny, lacked flavor and salt. For $40 for one diner, I wouldn’t come.back nor recommend it.

They deserve more stars. The food and drinks were all top notch. They were gluten free and vegan friendly. They even made adjustments where needed to support my allergies. Our server, Tiffany, really made the experience too. She had quick, great suggestions upon hearing it was our first time there. She was clearly staying cool headed and friendly while juggling a lot of things. She almost seemed like a mind reader at times. Thank you so much.

Incredibly delicious spanish coffee. The Carlitas Skillet was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. SO GOOD. I tried the same dish at the Portland location and I was very disappointed. The Eugene location has so much delicious queso sauce. I will think of it until I get to have it again.

We were very excited to return here for a long over due date night after a negative experience last time with service. This time we saw great improvement with service mainly because it wasn’t as busy. Server was pleasant. Margaritas were amazing as expected. On to the food. We were very upset that our eloté (street corn) was cold and came out at the same time as our (also cold) taco’s. We had the carne asada, and the pork belly tacos. They were all terrible. Super upsetting. Soggy, insanely bland, and the pork tasted like it was no good. Chips and pineapple salsa were amazing. Sadly, I’m not sure we will be returning unless we only come for drinks and chips and salsa. Wasn’t worth over $40 a piece to us by any means. Hoping to see improvement, not bash the business.
