July 30th @ 9:30pm in Las Vegas, we were hungry and Steak ‘n Shake looked good……LOOKED good. When I say the only bright spot was an employee named Lauren. The food was a mess and the order on one wasn’t correct, so that had to get fixed. I ordered KitKat shake and got a Cookie Dough one, so that had to get fixed as well. The taste was okay, however it’s not worth the wait. Thumbs down all the way for this spot .

Been a while since we visited a S&S. Thought this would be a fun place near Fremont strip. A real disappointment. 1] Wouldn’t accept our gift card; 2] Security guard questioned our presence there on patio. No one else was at a table & so we stayed an extra half-hour after eating, but had disposed of our trays so our debris wouldn’t blow away. 3] Sandwich was sub-grade (see picture). Hmmm. With all the competition, S&S needs to step up their game.

USA has a high Standard for disappointing especially when it comes to food. And this experiance was over the top. Service was nice but the food? Seriously? We orderd classic Steak burgers. That Was definitiv no Steak…i am seriously questioning if it was meat at all

The Burger was small but the grade of tastiness, was excellent, sweetie always goes for the #6 bacon barbecue burger and I got #5 garlic burger, we both would have gotten the mushroom burger but they stopped serving mushrooms which is disappointing but the food was still excellent. Would like to try one of the milkshakes a.k.a. better know to Bostonians like myself as frappes. Maybe next time. I recommend these greasy finger soaking burgers and the fries hit just rite as well. The pricing is decent for what you are getting. You know the meat is grilled and not pre stamped like other most fat foods joints. The time we recieve our food was unbelievably fast. I want expecting that. If having a choice of most to pick from I’d come here first, and this was my first time. That’s saying a lot.

The hamburger and milkshake was great but the fries were a let down. Service was a bit slow, but the front counter servicer was doing her best. They could have used an extra hand up front. It’s better than White Castle and McDonald’s in the area.

Great burger joint and even better staff! The staff here is really good and customer service is top notch. The burgers do taste really good and the value is amazing. You can get a full meal for $10.99. The only drawback is that the burgers are slightly small, not terribly small but just a little. But still great value!

5:10pm I got in line. Got to the counter at 5:20pm and was asked to wait because the kitchen was backed up. Ordered at 5:26pm. Order came out at 5:31pm which was good timing.

The Burgers taste good, however they’re TINY. Way over priced for the amount of food you receive. I ordered onion rings and I only received 5 onion rings.. basically over $1 per onion ring. The fries, were basically as thin as sticks and cold. The shakes were good but they are not even full shakes maybe 3/4 full cup..

I would have given 5 stars across but I requested my combo large size. The cashier gave me a large size cup but I received a small fry. When I told the young lady passing out orders she said well you didn’t pay for it. Like how did I get a large cup of the entire order want upsized. When I told the cashier she said it’s on the ticket but no one fixed my order.
