We came to Masa to celebrate our son’s 4th birthday. We went thinking he would just enjoy the hibachi show but every staff member there went above and beyond to make sure he had a great birthday celebration. Our hibachi chef was awesome, made him a birthday balloon crown and balloon swords/animals for our nephews and other sons. They offered to put our cupcakes in the fridge to stay cool while we ate and then brought them out with a candle and sang to him. They even stopped the music in the restaurant to play “Happy Birthday” throughout the whole restaurant. Our family had such a good time, food and service was awesome.

Popular and busy place, so may want to make a reservation if you do not want to wait. You have the choice of sitting at a regular table, at a Hibachi table or at the sushi bar. Lots of great Japanese and also a variety of Chinese and Thai dishes. We chose to go with the delicious Hibachi combos of chicken and shrimp and salmon and shrimp. Comes with your choice of rice and also soup and salad. Also tried their sushi rolls on a previous visit. Everything is nice, fresh and tasty!

Do not go to this establishment unless you want a RACIST, RUDE, ENTITLED waiters who was aggressive and argumentative . The waiter who was an Asian woman decided on her own to steal our $15 change when we paid our bill. She assumed because my family that consisted of my husband and 2kids under 5 yrs old was African American that we were not going to tip so she JUST STOLE IT!! We honestly thought you pay the tip when the bill comes. When we handed the tip to the chef because he was amazing. We questioned her about the change, she aggressively stated I took it because that’s MY TIP! Admitting she stole it. She was demanding and rude. She didn’t even try explain that it’s common courtesy to pay hibachi chef while he’s cooking. We were not aware of the rules because this was our 1st time and last time at this establishment

I love this restaurant: The hibachi made with seafood is my favorite, the sushi and edamame cannot be absent as an appetizer. The atmosphere is very relaxed to go alone or with someone. The service and prices are always very good too.

Jabba Walkie

They have in their menu “crab stick” “crab meat” “kani” and “crab salad” in different rolls and none of it had a “K” like you normally see for “krab” i.e. fake crab. So I ordered a roll with “crab meat” expecting to get actual crab. Well roll comes out and you can see the fake crab stick inside. False advertising at it’s finest. Fix your menu to be accurate and have ONE terminology not 4-5. Food was “fine” but in 4 different rolls of varying ingredients it all tasted same-y.

The place was very busy but it’s not for me. I thought the food was over priced for what you got. I got the orange chicken with fried rice. The rice was very bland. The portion of chicken was small. My grandsons got food from the hibachi grill. They said it was good but over priced. I won’t be back. Oh BTW our server was very hard to understand.

We had a great time here! The food was delicious and I definitely recommend the American Dream Roll! The orange chicken was amazing as well and the service was quick and graceful. The staff was nice and the menu has lots of options. It was a bit noisy, however that’s just because it’s a popular place with lots of people. It’s a great experience with great food!
