Local spot for convenience and a decent meal. Nothing to rave about with the sushi, it’s fine for take out or a casual meal. The chef’s skills are not there when it comes to cutting and plating. Not the way a purist would like. The cooked food is a safer bet like the rice dishes or noodles. Plates were not clean which I pointed out for a replacement and they were still wet when given to me. Service is minimal at best. I had high hopes when they first opened but have been disappointed every time.

This place is what the late Chef Bourdain would call a hidden gem. The Sushi is beyond excellent. The Toro Scallion is like Butter. I travel almost an hour to have lunch on Saturday sometimes because it’s rare to find this level of perfection. Tokyo GoGo I think your doing an excellent job.

Excellent sushi, consistently good. Have been getting take out here for over 3 years, 2-3 times a month. I think some of those negative reviews are fake or mixing it up with another restaurant. The only complaint is that wait times can be long.. that tells you how busy they are with returning customers.
