Delicious food! The french toast with fried apples is perfection, not too sweet! The grits are so good! Home fries are cooked just right! Biscuit is fluffy and moist. Overall fresh homemade food! Highly recommend!

Hot and heavy pizza-hold the siracha was great. Sausage had enough spice. Crust was just right. Cesar salad was over the top. Pilsner beer finished nicely. Daily specials sound good too so we’ll be back.

This is my favorite restaurants in Hillsborough. It is an unassuming storefront that looks like it might be another average small-town diner but it really is much nicer than that. They have a relatively small menu with some very high quality items. I have been several times and tried something new every time. I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve had. The pulled pork I had was great, as was were the grits I had another time.

Great breakfast! Everyone liked it. 4 year old, Ada, says, “It was yummy. I like the blueberries.”

I was really nervous because we had never eaten at the Village Diner and when we arrived there were just two couples and one person at the bar. We almost left because how could a place so well rated be so empty? Maybe I’m wrong to judge a restaurant like that, but when you rarely eat out you want it to be good.

Great place. Make sure you read the signs for fees and building you a biscuit.
