Alcove is a nook of nature in the heart of the city, with a series of unique spaces for guests to explore. Located at 1400-1410 Vine Street in Cincinnati’s historic Over-the-Rhine district, Alcove will feature MadTree beers, house-made cocktails and upscale farm-to-table offerings.
The main space will feature a large bar, light-filled lounges, dining areas and an intimate private dining room for small groups. Connected by expansive windows and doors that run the length of the building, the main space opens to one of the city center’s rare outdoor spaces. Alcove will feature a lush outdoor patio space for lounging.

The aesthetic is nature meets elegant. The server also informed us that the majority of their food is source locally. I came in specifically for their single Patty burger and it was grilled to perfection. It tasted just like I got out of the pool on a summer day and someone took it straight off the grill. And their fries are amazing too

Alcove by MadTree Brewing is great! Had a bachelorette dinner here with a group of 8 and everything was awesome. The overall atmosphere is very cool and just energetic enough. The living plant walls are cool and the space is inviting. We were seated in a back private room that was perfect for our group. We had a range of ages in our party and it made it way easier to hear each other being in the separate room away from the bustle. Our server was great – super prompt, handled a group and all our orders seamlessly, and made good suggestions. The food was delicious! We tried the charcuterie cheese board and meatballs for everyone to share and it was just the right amount. The meatballs with lemon caper sauce were super tasty and I’d highly recommend. The salads were fresh and good and the butternut squash soup was delicious. The roasted beets with whipped goat cheese are a must – so good! 5 out of 8 of us got the short rib risotto – mine was great. Once leaving, I saw how much extra space the restaurant had and was impressed by the size! The other areas looked pretty and like a greenhouse, with a lot of nice lighting. I’d highly recommend giving this place a visit!

Real hipster kind of place. So many plants! Everything had a cool vibe. Seemed busy but not hectic. Service was fantastic. Food was good, hot and fast. Drinks were great! Would recommend most for date night or a night with friends.

This is a beautiful restaurant/bar in a popular nightlife area of Cincinnati. I got the 17oz bone in ribeye and the ginger chicken bites. The ginger chicken is very good but a bit hard to share. The ribeye steak is big enough to split and was very tasty. They undercooked it a little bit but were happy to put it back on for a few minutes and it turned out very good.

Tried to experience their brunch but we were discouraged by a very unfriendly host, who tossed the brunch menus at us without even greeting us. His “we are serving brunch” now was immediately followed by a glance down to my dog and a very condescending remark on how “we don’t accept dogs in the patio”.
