My friends keep telling me about this place and I finally made it down with pastor Dave. He told me what to order and it was excellent! I would highly recommend this place based off of my one experience at this point, and all of the other people who keep telling me that it’s awesome. If you haven’t tried it, you should. It was so good. Are you and forgot to take pictures.

The photos are deceptive, and it was a huge letdown. I had steak lo mein. The lo mein was so salty that I was unable to eat it, and the steak was so dry that it was either overcooked or not as fresh as they claim. I also ordered a burger, the bottom bun was greasy and soggy (who puts sweet pickles on an American burger?). A poor presentation was made. I would not recommend.

The food was more akin to Chinese food than Japanese food. That’s more of an observation than a critique. I’ve lived in Japan and this does not taste like Japanese food, so that’s where my disappointment lies.

Deep fried sushi roll are amazing!! Please move closer to Kansas City, you will not regret it. Gardner is soo far away, you definitely need multiple locations to feed the masses your awesome food.
