Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in 6 years here. As I continually sacrifice my waistline and wallet for these reviews for your benefit…….this place is a true jewel. Starting with the visual experience when you enter……clean, colorful, beautifully decorated with a Mexican theme. The wait staff (at least the one we had) was attentive and helpful to a fault…..and it was needed lol. The menu is HUGE and everything is fully illustrated. We took 30 minutes to just boil down our choices since every time we turned the page we’d find something else. And then the drinks……….2 for 1 Margaritas (multiple flavors) and 2 for 1 drafts (multiple brands). Food was wonderful with huge portions. We each took over half our dinners home. Wonderful experience that you owe it to yourself to try.

We liked the atmosphere inside. Complimentary chips and salsa. Nice waitress, but she never checked on us again until it was time for the bill. My daughter’s margarita had ALOT of salt at the bottom of it instead of all the way around the rim. The enchilada red sauce and enchiladas were good, but overall we thought the food did not have much flavor. The taco had no flavor, and we had to salt the salsa. Also, ladies, it’s REALLY miserably cold inside! I had to grab a blanket out of my car.

Delicious Mexican food that is very reasonably priced. The decor is fun, colorful and there’s a huge throne-type chair in the lobby that is a cute spot for a family or group photo.

Nice hostess and Server! Table side Guacamole was fun and good! Had the Fajita Chicken Burrito, wifey had Fajita Chicken Quesadillas… will definitely return! 2 for 1 draft beer too!

The place was great. I was a little surprised at how expensive the drinks were compared to the food but it was worth it. The drinks were strong and delicious and the food was out of this world. I recommend everyone try this place at least once.

We’re transplants from Chicagoland so we are used to outstanding Mexican food everywhere. It was hard to find a place here that had authentic American-Mexican food. The food has been hands down the best we’ve had in the area and we have tried…I’d say all of them but at least a dozen restaurants. The restaurant is well spaced so you don’t feel crowded and decorated well. The service is pretty good. I’d say they need a little fine tuning. They’re fast – very fast – when they don’t have insane wait times. It’s a relatively new restaurant so I think once they get their grove they’ll be amazing. Definitely a must-try.

First try at El Jalisco. About 20 minute wait. Nice atmosphere, pleasant servers. 2 for 1 margaritas ($13) were huge and okay. Fajitas Alambra $23 were flavorful but not as much meat as expected for the price. More veggies than meat. Pick 3 combo $17, was also delicious. Our verdict was that it was a little pricey for location but food tasted excellent. We would go again, would try a different drink next time.

The food was flavorless. We added A LOT of salt/pepper to make it edible. Luckily we hadn’t eaten all day so there wasn’t much choice but to eat what we could. Our server was very polite.
