Experienced Pasta Jays in Lone tree for the first time tonight, sadly, the last time. Food was way too overpriced for the quality. Service was horribly slow. Our waiter rambled thru the specials like he was in such a hurry, we had to have him repeat it 3 times. Another table that sat after us, and order close to the same time we did, they got their food a good 5 minutes before ours. And they had more food orders. My food came out first, while my daughter and husband’s came out several minutes later. Garlic bread was horrible, extremely over seasoned. Never going back, wouldn’t recommend it.

This is one of the better places for Italian food in Denver. It is not flashy, does not advertise itself as such. Just really, really good food. Growing up, I ate a lot of homemade Italian food. It is very seldom that I come across a place that comes close to the taste of homemade Italian. Pasta Jays is one. It is very reasonably priced. The service is good. The decor of the place is good for what it is and advertises itself to be. Highly recommended.

Used Pasta Jay’s for our catering at our wedding a week ago and I have nothing but positives to say about them. They were on time, the food was amazing (and affordable), and the two individuals who came to work the event were just awesome. Emily the catering and event director worked with me through my million changes I made throughout the planning and didn’t complain ever. Thanks again for all you guys did! Also each time I have been into the restaurant in Boulder the food and service have been great as well.

I have a few issues with this location. The first is atmosphere. Of course the Boulder location has the benefit of sitting on Pearl Street, but it goes beyond that. The Boulder location is a good date night spot. Well turned out staff, clean and classy surroundings with jazz playing in the background. Lone tree feels like a place where you would take the little leaguers after a game. If you sit in just the right spot you can enjoy the soft rock sounds of the 80’s with the scent of the bathroom air freshener. The food is the same quality with large portions that come out bubbling hot and covered in cheesy goodness. No location should brag about the garlic bread. It is somehow both burnt and soggy. The amount of garlic is overwhelming and that yellow stuff tastes like. …well…it sure don’t taste like butter. On our last visit we watched clean tablecloths and napkins carried to the bar to be folded. The tablecloths were dragging on the floor. A napkin hit the floor and was thrown right back in the pile. So, for this location, bring the team, bring your appetite, wipe your mouth with your sleeve, and ask to be sat away from the restrooms.

We went to Pasta Jay’s in Lonetree, CO, on our recent vacation there. It was my husband’s birthday, so we wanted to have a yummy dinner. Although it was 5 p.m. on a Saturday, the hostess asked if we had reservations. When she found we did not, she sat our 6 person party at a round table for 4, jammed in corner so we all had to stand for one person to leave. They brought our salad and before it was on our plates, brought our entrees. We had no room for all of the food and some people did not finish their salad because of the inconvenience. We had what seemed like 3 people waiting on us, but no one really paying attention. We asked for more water and waited for quite some time. The food itself was excellent, but the service, very disappointing. Our hostess for our vacation said she has eaten there many times and has never seen the service quite so lacking. We were disappointed to say the least, and won’t return there next time we visit Colorado.

My wife got a groupon for this place which is near my work. We went for lunch. The service was great, but it took well over 35 minutes to get our food (there were only 4 tables with people) and when it arrived I wasn’t very impressed. My meatball sandwich, was two little meatballs in a boat of sauce, (literally it’s served in a “boat” bowl filled with sauce and soaked bread). Flavor of the meat was so so, lacked seasoning. We would not go back again – even on a groupon.

It was amazing. We went to the Moab location many times and we’re excited to see it in Centennial. We go often, probably once a month. Service has always been outstanding, and the food is ALWAYS FANTASTIC!! My favorite is the Green Chili Raviolli. My wife loves the Totellini. I would highly recommend Pasta Jay’s to anyone.

Once again a great experience at Pasta Jays. The Red Sauce is to die for. I had the chicken Parm. Came out sizzling hot, smothered in cheese. Very friendly service, fast and efficient. A great value.

One of the worse meals I have ever had. Their signature garlic bread was saturated with bitter-tasting garlic on poor quality bread that had the soft consistency of a Twinkie – oh, wait – a Twinkie has a better consistency – maybe this was gluten-free garlic bread. That bitter taste continued in their marinara sauce that accompanied my spaghetti and meatballs. The only way to describe the taste of the sauce is “acrid.” The meatballs were small and rubbery. My dining partner ordered manicotti. The manicotti tubes appeared to be half cooked. Combine half-cooked manicotti tubes with overbaking them after they’ve been stuffed, and there’s another disaster on a plate. They were tough and smothered in that same sour marinara sauce. When the pleasant server brought our check, my dining partner complained about the rubbery manicotti to which the server replied “I’ll pass that along to the chef.” Yeah, sure you will. No offer of a free desert, no offer to assuage my dining partner’s dissatisfaction with the meal. Definitely a “do not return” for me.

Such good food. I loved it. But I came in there during a snow storm and I was all that was in there. So I’m not sure how service is on a normal day. But like I said. It was so good!!!
