I have eaten their delicious sandwiches twice and a good experience both times. Tried the peachy special with peach jam, loads of bacon bits, ricotta cheese–it was so gooey and amazing. Would love to try it with maybe a raspberry or a blackberry jam, think it would really pop. Also highly recommend the pimento. They do seem to have a fair amount of options with jalapenos, my only recommendation might be a few more options without (but don’t worry, you’ll find something for everyone). They always have a pretty constant line wherever they set up so be prepared for a little bit of a wait (it is well worth it). They are crafting the sandwiches to order, so it will be hot and comforting. Prices seem reasonable for a gourmet made-to-order sandwich, expect to pay between $6-$10 per sandwich and $1.50 if you would like a bag of chips. They also offer merchandise like T-shirts, coozies and stickers.

This food is delicious! After a few hours of tubing, we were hungry and saw the REO Cheesewagon. The grilled cheese sandwiches and wraps were perfect! And the owner came out to check on us. She also gave us great recommendations of local places to try and they were all spot on!

I was a little adventurous and reluctant but ordered the blackberry Smoke. The blackberry jam didn’t sound good on the sandwich. The combination of sweet, smoky bacon with provolone and jalapeño peppers was surprisingly tasty. I would definitely recommend and order this again.

I tried the Gouda and blackberry jam grilled cheese at the concert at brushy mountain penitentiary the other night and it blew my mind! Will definitely look for them next time. I’m craving a grilled cheese over the top and delicious.
