The perfect diner experience! Our waitress was so kind, she was the only waitress due to others not showing up and she kept up on a busy morning. The food was delicious and hot. We had breakfast: eggs, omelet, country ham, shredded hash browns with onions and cheese, homemade biscuits (YUM), and a hot cake. Absolutely nothing disappointed or came out wrong. I wish the portions were slightly bigger and the hotcakes a little less dry, other than that, no complaints. We will definitely be visiting again when we come into town!

Such a pleasant much needed breakfast on a Sunday morning after a rock concert the night before!! Yummy cooked to order eggs, hash browns, biscuits and all the fixings! Extensive menu including pancakes! Fabulous consistent service and very crowded w/o any seats! THAT’S the true sign of a really good restaurant!

Barksdale’s is a gem in the heart of Midtown! Come for the food, stay for the company. Everybody who works here is so nice. I’ve been eating here for over 10 years and I love coming back and seeing my peeps. I highly recommend the hotcakes, club sandwich, and fried chicken every Friday. Head on over, they’ll treat you right.

Under $20 for 2 people. Midtown Memphis classic diner for breakfast and lunch. You won’t feel rushed. The menu has enough items to choose from with a variety of dishes. Situated on a corner on Cooper Street. If you’re not careful, you may drive by, but turn around. One of the best breakfast places in Memphis. Try the eggs with country fried steak.
