Good beer, bottomless cokes for my 10 yr old who was pushing the envelope on our YES trip – SO much caffeine tasty fries and burgers, nothing amazing food-wise, but the service was great amd the atmosphere was amazeballs. My son named the skeleton Jeff and said he was the coolest person he’d met so far we brought the game Exploding Kittens with us and had the best time! They’ve got a few games on the shelf but bring your own and have a great time!

One of my favorite bars in downtown Seattle. A local joint that also serves food. The bar also has a pool table (with a tv in the pool room) and a tv by the bar if you want to watch a game. There are lots of cool vintage photos of pop culture icons adorning the walls and board games are available if you that is your something you like to do. A good place to have a drink and watch the game and have a good conversation with some of the locals and tourists that visit this restaurant and lounge (they seem to get a good mix of both).

Based on the title “restaurant and lounge” I expected the place to be a little nicer. It’s definitely a bar lounge vs a restaurant lounge. Expect grungy, but not bad! Food was fresh and good. Menu isn’t huge and they only have 3 sodas but for what it was and cost it was quite good.

After a long day of flying from the east coast and spending the day exploring Seattle, I stopped in for a beer and to kill a half hour or so until the restaurant i had chosen for dinner opened. I ended up spending over 3 hours here and having a light dinner. This is a local bar. The people were friendly, welcoming and clearly enjoyed each other’s company. The meatloaf sliders were excellent and made me wish I had ordered the large sandwich or platter. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out here and will definitely visit again if I ever return to Seattle.

Burgers were decent. Unfortunately the day we went there was only one server running both the bar and the family section. They were pretty slammed so it was hard for her to keep up. She did a great job but she should not have been alone. The place was a bit dirty. I spilled my water and I would normally try to clean up some but it looked like the floor by the sides of the tables had been neglected for some time. There is a retro theme but it is pretty dark inside

Cannot recommend their burgers enough, although all the dishes I have tried have been great! Both the day bartender and night bartender are amazing. Great relaxed atmosphere for watching games, playing pool or just having a drink with a friend. I love going to The Retro.
