This place is a must stop for good Mexican food. The only mar on my dinner was our hostess. The place was empty when we arrived and we were told they could not accommodate a party of nine. We were told they couldn’t push the tables together on the outdoor patio we conceded too and had to ask for the manager to be spoken too. To add insult to injury we were also told that as a female we couldn’t help move the tables after speaking to the manager. After that we had an amazing server called James. He made the dinner feel special again. I ordered a Cubano, they did add fruit to which made it sweet. However the other drinks ordered were lovely. Our food was fantastic and as I’ve been missing good Mexican from Arizona, this really hit the spot. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait till I can go again!

Chose this restaurant for a nice sit down taco dinner as our first time out with our family after moving to Dallas. We had a table of 6 around 7:30pm on a Saturday, was told we could not be accommodated without a reservation unless we wanted to sit on the patio. We obliged despite it being close to 80 degrees out. They had a cooler available on the patio but it was not turned on, however they repositioned a fan to help with some breeze. The menu was extensively explained and the waitress told us she would give us a few minutes, but took a really long while before she returned to take our order. This would be the trend for the duration of our meal where the waitress would disappear for 10-20 minutes at a time. Appetizers then came out at the same time as 2 of our 6 entrees. More waiting… When the second round of entrees came out, my significant other still had not received his food. We let the waitress know that we were still missing an entree and no one had received utensils to eat with. More waiting while swatting flies away from our uneaten food. We didn’t have utensils to eat with until 20+ minutes had passed with our food sitting on the table. Someone asked for salsa that didn’t come out until his entree was more than half eaten. As everyone else was finishing their food, we asked for my significant other’s entree to be cancelled as it still was not ready and to please bring the check. Waitress returned with the entree anyway while we were all waiting for the check, asked if we wanted it to go instead. We told her it seemed like there was no other choice at this point. She brought back the taco and enchilada meal scraped off the dinner plate into the box all on top of each other like slop (see picture below) and we were charged on the check for it, as well as an included 20% gratuity to add insult to injury. Someone from our party had to go into the restaurant to get us some to go boxes as we were mostly ignored. What an absolutely horrible experience we had. Waitress offered an apology that they were backed up but nothing further. Food was tasty but expensive for the portion size. Restaurant was pretty inside but the patio experience also not worth it even if the service was better. Worst service I’ve received in a restaurant in a long time.

Enjoyed eating here. This place needs to host some sort of event to really bring attention to it. It’s a great restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere but needs to market more so that the neighborhood will begin coming. 10/10

Really delicious food and drinks. Everything tasted so fresh and handcrafted. We ate inside right across from the kitchen. The decor gives the place a comfortable feel.

Incredible food and don’t even have to travel to Mexico for it! I’ve always driven past this place and didn’t realize how amazing it is. The interior is beautiful, the cutest photo op. The food is even better – very traditional, healthy, but flavorful.

A small establishment on the corner with lots of style, flavor and atmosphere. This is a hidden gem. It is classic Mexican food with an authentic flavor. Casual enough to feel comfortable yet fancy enough to feel special. A step up from the taco and Tex Mex joints, it would be a great date night spot or nice place to bring friends for lunch. The layout of the place has 3 types of seating:: outdoors, inside a “greenhouse” section with beautiful decor and plants and inside the building. I went a few times in May and always for lunch. There was never a wait and the waitstaff was very attentive. The style and the decor was classy and authentic Mexico. The food was delicious, and also authentic. Their mixed drinks were delicious, I had a Frida which was sweet and refreshing. The only drawback is the parking during the day, (I haven’t been there at night), but the restaurant said we could park across the street at a different spot and I always seemed to find a spot.

Had a nice night catching up with old co-workers. Everything was fine, but we were caught off guard when we received our bill and 20% gratuity was added to our 4-top’s bill without saying anything. We all almost wrote a tip in without realizing. That just seemed a little shady (don’t get me wrong, I’m all for tipping our service industry workers fairly) and our server was noticeably upset that we noticed. All was fine until I looked at my bank statement yesterday and realized I was charged $15 more than what my bill said (I saved my receipt) No, I’m not going to argue with the restaurant over $15, but something needed to be said (and here I am). I later contacted my friends about what they were charged and they were ALSO overcharged! I don’t know how this is possible, but this place definitely left a bad taste in my mouth (not literally. The food was yummy). No Bueno.

So I started out going to tacos y mas, I’d seen this place tons of times before, but have been reluctant to try it, when I walked in the door I was greeted by the staff, and the interior design took me by surprise, inside I could not even tell that I was on the corner of Ross and Greenville, upscale, chic, the live plants the tiles, the service everything was for more than I expected! I will definitely be returning, my meal was excellent enchilada mole verde, black beans, rice and a brisket taco perfect for an afternoon lunch. Great place if your looking for an afternoon lunch and with Milk and Cream across the street what more could I ask for!

The service and place of the restaurant was beautiful! the waitress was well attentive. The spicy drink I got was AMAZING. The only problem was the food. I was super confused on what to eat because nothing sounded good. The chips and salsa were weird. I got the mole enchiladas and I was not impressed. Overall the place and service is good but the food is the pass
