Watched the review on them by the Coney Bros on Youtube. An absolute great place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Been around since 1936 so they have to be doing something right!! The chili cheese fries are to die for and have been craving them since I had them lol. Cash only and they do have a drive through. Not a ton of parking but it’s so worth it will be back soon.

Have lived in Waterford for 15 yrs, right around the corner actually, and have never stopped by. Well my wife did today and the people working the window were so kind and gracious to her. The conies were excellent and we will for sure be back by. Lifetime customers gained today.

This place is amazing. The chili cheese fries are really good. The potatoes are in the shape of ruffles! Loose burger was flavorful, and the malt we got was thick and tasty!

I feel like I’m walking in time, maybe the 50s, or a 50s diner! Lots of movie posters and artifacts inside Walt’s. There’s a lady who works inside thats very nice, and always up for a good conversation! I could go on and on.. I’m a fry connoisseur, and the cottage fries are like wavy potato chips. The chicken strips are good, and the chili is too. ( no bubbly stomachs here, thank you!) You can write on the walls, ask for the marker, and u can write a note card and place it in the stories box. Full of history at Walts! Enough said!

I’ve been coming to Walt’s since I was a small child. I take all my close friends here to try their coney & shakes, and now I take MY children here whenever I can. I moved to NC for 4 years but I ate at Walts each time I visited. We left NC to evacuate for a hurricane, and I had my son in MI while it was happening. A few days before giving birth we visited Walts, we came back again before I went into the hospital, and before I left MI to go reunite with my husband we visited again. I also remember busting my lip for the first time ever sitting at the counter.

Love this little place. Best restraunt for coneys and chilli/cheese waffle fries in Waterford. Actually that is the only menu items I have tried. Always think about trying a different item on the menu, just can’t do it. Have to dine in to get the real feel of the place.

Iykyk. Legendary place that’s a must if you are in the area. Deanna works during the day she’s the best! Will make you feel like family even if it’s the first visit. Coneys and everything is great here.
