We had a large group of about a dozen people and kind of in a hurry, and the people working were able to accommodate us and recommend options. They were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. The food was delicious and hot. I wish we would have had more time, but some had to catch a flight. It seems to be a great place just to grab a quick lunch, a two – or three peice meal.

Okay, there is a love hate relationship with this place. I love their food, most of the time. Sometimes if you get there while they are running out of ingredients there is nothing thwy can do. Sometimes you won’t get fries- happened to us, sometimes they run out of the magoo signature sauce, then you get a spicy one even though you didn’t order it. However, when you get what you order which is 65% of the time it’s delicious! Also their watermelon tea- delicious! Staff is mostly very friendly and attentive, however let people havw bad days and don’t complain. Sometimes you might see a gir with a python around her neck lol.

I ate dinner here. The french fries were spicy so if you can’t handle spice this is not the place for you. The chicken was good. The bathrooms were okay. The cashier at the register took my order and was customer service qualified and nice. She said that they would serve us our food so we sat on the table waiting for the food. We waited a half hour for the food and went to ask what was going on ? why is it taking so long? What happened was they made it our food to-go order and it was sitting there and getting cold and no one said anything. Once we got the food the food was good. It’s not a bad restaurant I’ll still go back but I’ll pay more attention to the food delivery system.

First time in for a quick afternoon bite. Won’t be back! Food was nothing really special to be honest. My wrap was barely wrapped not hot and very little fries with Way to much seasoning Wasn’t to busy that a staff member couldn’t sweep up the floor or wipe down the tables. The ladies bathroom was just as disappointing Maybe I should have gone in when they first opened two years ago.

Great chicken tenders! I went here because I heard they had good chicken, and they didn’t disappoint. The chicken is perfectly breaded and seasoned. It’s very fresh! Orders take a little bit, but they are made fresh. They have very good fresh lemonade, and some flavored teas. They offer dine in, and to go so whatever is convenient for you. Prices were very good, from $7-$10 a person. They have kids meals available as well. I highly recommend

This place is always well maintained and they always have great food. The reason for my review is, I’m currently dining in. I arrived at 8:30pm and I’m aware they close at 9. The cashier was blatantly rude and annoyed that I was dining in. She let me know that they closed in 30 minutes and when I said I’d be out before then, she rolled her eyes and huffed. I’ve never felt more unwanted and uncomfortable before. The rest of the staff and the food was amazing. Maybe next visit I can change this back to 5 stars. She was just really unprofessional. It’s 1:30 pm on a Monday afternoon. Getting my brakes done at tire Kingdom I became hungry and the only restaurant within safe walking distance in Daytona Beach off of Beville road was Magoos. I have never been to Magoos. So I looked up the ratings. I always look very carefully at the ratings to see if they seem credible, both good and bad. I decided to take the risk and went in and was so pleasantly surprised. A very restaurant style atmosphere with wood tables and wonderful lighting. Edison lighting. The first girl who greeted me at the cash register. It was sweet and friendly with a smile. I ordered my food and it came out within minutes hot and fresh delivered to my table. I don’t think I could ever eat chicken tenders anywhere else. Clearly they’re using organic, hormone free chicken. The fries were crispy and hot. Hard to get a good crinkle fry anymore. I didn’t take the Texas toast because I was cheating on my diet with the lightly breaded chicken tenders as it was. Lol! I noticed while I was there, the lady sitting next to me, ordered a salad. Apparently she ordered it with no grape tomatoes. She almost had a meltdown when they brought it to her table. And then it occurred to me, people are so angry anymore, they will take it out on the most vulnerable person. The easiest target. I wish people would just breathe and know that things will get better. People are human beings, and they are going to make mistakes. They immediately took her salad and brought it back without the grape tomatoes on it. Meanwhile, I had to sit there and listen to her. Make four phone calls about it. I was sitting there thinking I’m so happy that I’m not her friend getting that phone call. I will definitely be back to Magoos for the atmosphere, the excellent service, and the fantastically fresh chicken! BTW-If the lady who reviewed on this platform thinks the price is too high, there is a McDonalds across the street. For $3 less than what I paid at Magoos, you can get “chicken” dosed up with plenty of hormones and God only knows what Country they get their chicken from; and for how long it has been frozen. But if you want a quality product at a very good price, Magoos is the place for you! It is for me!!!
