In town for business, lots of fast food options around. It’s nice to have the option of something more in line with a home cooked meal. Fried Catfish plate and 2 sides was a great option as well as a to go plate of hot wings for dinner. Just enough spice to satisfy my taste buds. The staff is pretty friendly and service is quick. They answer any and all questions I have about the options they have for the day. I would definitely recommend you stop and give them a try if you’re in town.

What happened to the famous biscuits, and have to wait to place your order at the window u puck up your food and wait and wait some more. Chicken is over cooked, closes way to early at 7 pm

I love sauces. Their sauce is bloody awesome! Both the Abrams and the sauce on their chicken, which is made in house. I would say the bbq was really good, the sauce made it amazing. Not a bad little cafeteria style place.

The inside isn’t the cleanest. The staff are very friendly. There are meat options that weren’t available because their grill was down. I ordered the chicken, which didn’t look appetizing, but was actually really good. For sides I got mac n cheese and string beans (I think). The hushpuppies they give you with your order are delicious. The sides weren’t good. Especially the mac n cheese. It was watery and mushy. I mentioned this as the server placed it in my container. He said it looked that way because of all of the cheese used. Nope. It was disgusting.

First time visiting this particular location. The dining area seems outdated. The bathroom door had a flimsy lock, but it was hard to unlock. Thought I was gonna have to be rescued to get out. The food looked fresh, but the young lady taking orders had the worst attitude. No smile, I couldn’t hear her speaking, she was sighing and rolling her eyes. I even had to ask her if she ok thinking that would bring a smile. Nope, not at all. Maybe she was having a bad day, but first impressions are important. Now the good part, That chicken! Oh, That chicken! I don’t know what that man is doing back there when cooking it, but Baby, keep it up! First of all, it looked good. Just the right golden brown color. I also got fried okra and green beans. Delicious! And them hurshpuppies, mmmmmm mmmmmm. YES, I said hursh. Now back to this bird. That was some good chicken! Hot and fresh. Not dry, but moist. It had just the right crisp on the crisp. Just finger-licking good.! For that chicken, I’d drive another hour and a half.

Awesome experience! Family operated! Buffet line of food! Fresh cabbage, fresh Cole slaw, fresh collards…. banana pudding N cake! Sweet tea and sweet lemonade! Great prices! Great food and service! May have to wait in line but worth it! Opened 11am to 7pm
