Went to the little takeout stand in downtown aspen. Pastry had a great texture. All three of the empanadas we tried were delicious (beef, corn and vegan), with the corn being our favorite. Also, very friendly.

We just moved into the neighborhood in November. I finally stopped in for the first time while walking the baby a couple weeks ago. He and I shared a couple empanadas in the park with their homemade chimmichurri. Oh. My. Goodness. Amazing flavors! Great prices. We will be back again on another walk!

A quick bite and it’s cheap. Come try this locally owned mom&pop shop to get all your cravings in. These are, in my opinion, the best empanadas in Colorado. And their chimichurri is absolutely a must. You can buy a jar of it. It’s a staple in our home now.

Pretty darn good empanadas. The location is a bit strange, it was hidden in the back of a warehouse looking building. Don’t let that discourage you because the food is great and right after you finish eating you can go right across the street and relax by the river. Overall great experience.

Awesome empanadas, incredibly quick service, and the owner is so nice!! Go check this place out! The vegan variety is my favorite so far – roasted veggies tossed with chimichurri sauce – amazing! A great lunch addition to the valley.

We’ve put in bulk empanada orders for various Basalt open houses and they are AMAZING. She makes them in minis if you kindly ask, so they’re a great finger food. My favorite is the Humita, creamy sweet corn. These are the things you crave when you haven’t had them in a while!
