Was let down by this place, being in SoFlo you know good Cuban food and this being a small place and not a chain was promising but ultimately missed the mark. Went with my daughter to grab some lunch, we ordered a media noche, pan con lechón, croquetas de jamón, batidas de mango y fresa . The service was great the waitress was efficient, friendly and helpful, the food was subpar. The media noche had hardly any meat and the cheese hadn’t even melted, the pan con lechón had bell pepper (never seen this before) and no seasoning, the croquetas looked like they needed a second life and had been in the display for too long and the shakes had big chunks of ice in them. The whole shop is outdoor seating near the dump so the ambiance is lacking and oppressive if the wind changes direction. Can’t speak to their coffee or breakfast options (being 99* outdoor seating makes it hard to get hot coffee) but would opt to go elsewhere for good eats.

Great spot for authentic Cuban breakfast and lunch. The price is right and food is exceptional. The ladies in the front are very nice. Don’t speak a lot of English but that’s ok for me. Must try the Cuban coffee. If your around here stop on in this place is great.

Stopped by this joint after seeing the sign out front. Well… if you’re looking for authentic Cuban food then you might want to keep driving. The chicken breast platter seemed like dark meat and the palomilla steak lacked its signature flavor. The black beans were ok but too watery. The best part of the meal (and probably the only part)was the Cuban coffee. Unfortunately this place left me unsatisfied. Hopefully you have a different experience but I doubt you will.

Great Cuban coffee. Everyone who works there is super awesome too. Can’t wait to go back and try the food. Only drawback is that it’s next to a dump so it doesn’t smell inviting in the immediate area.

The food was very homie and had good taste but my absolute favorite was the coco frio!!! I got a legit huge coconut and if you love coconut this would be a must try. After I drank the water they opened it for me so I can eat the jelly… Delicious

Was in the mood for a authentic cuban sandwich. And came across this place while doing Instacart. I was not very pleased. The pork was either old or over grilled, hard and stringy; There was some other creamy cheese, not swiss and like one slice of ham on the sandwich. On top if that the bread was burnt. Taste was ok. Would have went back for a refund, but I had to work.

I went in for breakfast. The young lady at the counter helped me order. The food was fine. The problem I had was when I went back to ask about the sunglasses that I had accidentally left behind, she suddenly forgot how to speak English. While I did enjoy the food, I will not be going back.

The worst driest sandwich in the world. Are you kidding me no flavor and no condiments or sauce to moisten this dry sandwich. When I called to discuss it. Not one person spoke English. So it’s a total loss for me. Very sad and in my neighborhood too.

Very quaint little stop. We were in the neighborhood, and I couldn’t pass up the chance to get a café con leche and some breakfast. Service was excellent. Very polite and food was delicious.
