We ordered a deep dish pizza, which we’ve had many times before. We had pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and extra cheese. This was the worst pizza. It was not like any deep dish we’ve had here. The pizza dough was so thin (think paper thin and foldable without holding its shape) but the side of the pizza was a thick wall of dough that was dry. There was very little sauce, barely any cheese, no onions, and few mushrooms. Our previous pizzas always had a delicious thick soft crust and lots of toppings. We had invited friends over and they had never had Broadway. We raved about how 1 slice could fill you up. Sadly, a large deep dish didn’t fill any of us up. For the price of the pizza, I hope this was an off night but if this is the new norm, we definitely will find a new pizza place.

We ordered out and our pizzas arrived early. Delicious gluten free pizza with vegan Mozzarella that still tasted like regular pizza and delicious gluten free cheese bread! 10/10, would recommend for others with food intolerance. Note: I’m ok with eating gluten free cooked in same place as not gluten free.

Gluten Free Review: While in town for the Mayo Clinic we went to Broadway Bar & Pizza for dinner. They had gluten sensitize items indicated on the menu, which was great. I was surprised as this was such a dive bar feel I wouldn’t expect it. We got the French fries appraiser and gluten free baked potato pizza. Both were good but not my favorite. The wait for the food was a bit long for how empty it was late on a Monday night but the staff was very kind. If you are looking for this type of atmosphere and need gluten free food it’s a good place to try.

First of all, get the Meat on Broadway pizza, on thin crust. It will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Also, I strongly suggest their Poutine. It’s *so* good, and the jalapeno bacon is to die for.

Cool bar and pizza grill. I love the log exterior and patio! They have this cool train that goes around the restaraunt every so often, which the kids love. But the best part is their pizza! It’s so good. They also have an all you can eat lunch buffet that is only around $7 and offers salad, pizza, pasta, soup, and a couple deserts.

The pizza, fresh and hot, generous portions of toppings, a good value. I would have preferred a more interesting red sauce but they’ve been doing it for quite a while and seem to have a big following. As advertised, it’s a pizzeria a~d tavern and they seem to do both just a bit slower than necessary on Wednesday after the bingo(?) game.
