I expected the food to be so much better considering it is located out in the country, yes I’m profiling bbq, but from the young lady at the counter who made sure you felt unwelcome to the there’s no way I just heard the microwave. Brisket was a very flavorful steak, ribs lacked any flavor. Very disappointed, I took the back road back to Charleston specifically for the country bbq I expected to get at the Smokehouse.

I work all over the state and I’ve passed this place more times than I can count. Decided since they were open I’d check it out and man did it hit on something else. The best brisket I’ve eaten out of Texas. Slaw was on point and the Mac was solid. Hot sauce on the Mac was the winner. Sold on this place. Will definitely be back. My blue collar buddies need to check it out if you pass through Scranton SC!!!!

Best pulled pork I’ve had in many years….right amount of smoke,tender and moist. It does not need sauce to enhance flavor. Plenty of sides to choose from. I’ll be back!

If i could give 10 stars i would. Had the BBQ Sandwich with fries and mac and cheese and let me tell you. Best I’ve had by far. Definitely recommend and will be back to try the ribs next time.

Never been a fan of Brisket as a rule. I always thought it dry and tough. My wife likes it though, so I bought her some from Smokehouse BBQ. On my way home, about 30 minutes, I decided to try it. OMG! This is the GOAT. Super tender, juicy, and it had that smoked bark and that smoky taste! You could tell it was done the old fashioned way like they said – wood smoked. My wife never got any! I’ll have to go back for more!

Delicious homemade genuine BBQ. Stopped here as a road trip lunch and it was superb! Great sweet tea, soooo good. Two adults and three kids. Outstanding service! Sweet southern charm! I would highly recommend. The food was worth the wait. It was a bit of a wait, but patience paid off!

Only my family of 4 and 1 other guy in the entire restaurant but took over 30 mins to bring out the food. Told the guy i would need mine in a box as i had to get back to work, waited 5 more mins and nothing. My wife ended up bringing my food which she told me took another 10 mins to get to the table. The BBQ had no sauce on it. Honestly it tasted pretty good for no sauce but again the lack of sauce just summed up my experience.
