First time here and wow.. excellent! We got two different appetizers.. burnt ends and boudin balls. Both were outstanding! Then for lunch, I got the Big E burger (brisket added) and cheese grits. Everything was delicious! The staff were super friendly and were eager to answer any questions. The restaurant was very clean and organized. I can’t wait to go back!

This brand new local bbq spot is a welcome addition to the Hickory Flat neighborhood. Three of us went for dinner tonight and we’re delighted with the Cajun twist on bbq. We started with the jalapeño hush puppies, moved on to two orders of St. Louis Ribs & a pulled pork po’Boy including sides of red beans & rice, spicy green beans & corn maque choux. We finished with banana pudding & bread pudding with toffee sauce.

Came in around 7:30 on a Tuesday evening and ordered Jalapeño Hushpuppies, Pork Plate with green beans and dirty rice + Shrimp and grits. Both our meals were very delicious and would get them again. We ordered banana pudding and bread pudding to go since we were so full.

My husband, two of our kids and I tried BEB this evening for the first time. We had the fried alligator for an appetizer. I had the pulled pork plate, the husband tried the jambalaya, and the small people had burgers and Mac. All of the food was delicious! That slow smoked bbq pork was ON POINT! The hubs really enjoyed his jambalaya. Our very picky five year old was extremely happy with his alligator !

What a great find! Went to lunch with coworkers here, and it was excellent! The Brunswick Stew was delicious and also had the Red Beans and rice w/ Andouille, which is fantastic! The service was great and they have created a nice relaxed environment. We’ll be including this place on our regular lunch rotation!!

Barbecue places are a dime a dozen, but this place is truly set apart. The Cajun flare and great variety of sauces truly mingles to perfection with the moist and flavorful smoked meats. The side are phenomenal and the portion sizes are HUGE. The prices are average for local bbq. The staff was super friendly and sat me immediately. They were virtuous and conscientious of my food allergies and I got my food timely and hot. Can’t say enough good things about this new locally owned and operated spot. Definitely recommend trying it out.

So delicious! Was very impressed with oversight of our son’s egg allergy. He was even able to have dessert from here which is so rare! He LOVED the red beans and rice! Thanks for the great food and service! The remodel is amazing! Hard to believe it’s the same place as the previous business!
