We decide to try a different home style cafe . We had a good meal but weren’t impressed by the service. We weren’t asked if everything was ok and only one drink (never refilled). At the register, it was basically pay not the usual consideration of: how was your meal? And no: Thanks for coming in statement either. As a first impression, it wasn’t good. Wife’s impression was, I doubt we will go back.

We have Family near St Elmo. We visit a couple of times of year and always go to Mary Ann’s for breakfast and are never disappointed. Great selection on the menu and, if they are able, will get you something off menu. Your coffee cup will never be empty. If you go in around 7, look for a long table in the second room with an interesting group of characters.

Stopped in here today and had a wonderful meal. I love that they serve breakfast all day, they also offer lunch choices. Super fast service. Excellent Biscuits and Gravy, just like my grandma used to make! Employees were welcoming and friendly, attentive service. Can’t wait to return on my next trip through Illinois.

Typical small town diner. Great food, great service. The place is small and its obvious the clientele are mostly regulars. And for good reason, this hole in the wall serves simple delicious and inexpensive food.

Stopped in for breakfast this morning from out of town. The service was fast and friendly. The food was great. Small Town atmosphere with several friendly regulars there for coffee and breakfast. Clean rest rooms.

We went to McDonald’s close to this restaurant, we picked up our son some hotcakes then we left to find a place for hubby and I to eat. Went to May Ann’s. We took our sons hotcakes in with us and the waitress wasn’t happy we took outside food in. She told us and it was dropped; she then proceeds to bring it back up again and was very rude; we explained we’re traveling back home and we were coming from Reno NV to Ohio, The woman started telling us how rude we were and so we left. We have traveled from Ohio to Nevada and back and this is first place that said anything.
