Wow! This is an incredible restaurant and all around was such a nice dinner experience. I wrote on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and they had a birthday card sitting on the table for us. We also started with an aperitif that was a small, delicious bite! They brought bread for the table both gluten free and regular. They have dips for the bread that were amazing as well. We got the mushroom egg rolls as a starter which was fantastic. They were super hot but delicious and the sauce complemented really nicely. We tried the vegetable dish, lamb, paella, and lobster moqueca. Every dish was so amazing and flavorful. The paella was my favorite and is one of the best I’ve had (probably the best). They even brought over a small dessert at the end of the night which was a nice touch. The server was very friendly, helpful and nice. All around a really wonderful time at Havana and we’ll definitely go back any time we are in the area! I love that they change their menu with the different months so I would love to come back and try new items.

Best meal I have had all vacation and in quite a long time. Everything I had (Buratta salad and mixed grill) was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing… the sauces with each grill item were especially good… the “Maine Mule” was great as well. Loved the outdoor bar and seating area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a non-lobster meal in Bar Harbor…

Visited Havana (on the right side) and was thoroughly impressed! Staff were outstanding, service was swift, and the food, especially fresh oysters, was top-notch. Drinks were decent. Overall, a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Top tier restaurant on MDE. Restaurant overall is bold, classic, and has excellent service staff. I found the lobster moqueca to be my favorite lobster dish while on the island. The complexity of flavors in the entree were wonderful. Warm, buttery, tender, and perfectly balanced. Jasmine rice, cilantro, pineapples, and lobster all in perfect harmony. The Cuban rum was extremely aromatic and balanced. Havana is a gem.

I came here last year for the first time and had made a reservation for outside because I had my dog with me. They were so accommodating and kind when I was making the reservation and upon our arrival to ensure we were able to sit comfortably.

This review is for Parrilla, the casual bar side addition to Havana. Google isn’t letting me post pictures, but they are forthcoming.

We chose Havana to celebrate a special occasion. Our server Ryan ensured we had a wonderful experience and had top tier service. You can tell he works hard and wants to make sure you have a nice night out with one another. They have a massive wine list, we ended up getting a half bottle of rosé. The food (especially oysters and Gambas shrimp appetizer) was phenomenal. I even got a cigar to go.

Se Hable Delicious. A maze of individual spaces indoors and out. Unique and enticing menu. We selected because one of our party doesn’t like seafood. So many tasty choices. Off season and thankful we had a reservation.

We got oysters, solomillo, seafood paella, halibut and blueberry lime cheesecake. The blueberry cornbread with agave butter that they offered in their bread basket might have been my favorite!
