Sooo maybe I underestimated these guys!! They have some how found the magic secret to the perfect pizza. I am very impressed. Delicious chewy crunchy crust cooked all the way to the middle with out burning the edges. I ordered a supreme the Toppings were piled high but evenly spread the cheese held everything in like a cheesy blanket the sauce was sooo good the toppings were fresh and in every bite was like a new pizza and No Toppings even fell off … Did I mention I got all this right before closing … I’m in love!

I keep hoping to get a good piece of pizza from here, but they continue to disappoint. Unfortunately, this place is open late and on my way home from work so I keep getting mediocre pizza. Why is it so mediocre you ask? I will tell you. They don’t understand the art of pizza. It seems their approach is to take a piece of dough and slap some toppings and a ton of cheese on top. Literally way too much cheese placed on top of the toppings. Google what happens when you put the cheese on top of the pepperoni instead of pepperoni on top of the cheese … You get limp flavorless pepperoni. When the pepperoni is on top, the heat of the oven crisps it up and it releases the oils to make the whole pie taste wonderful. The pound of cheese on top quickly hardened so it made it easier to delaminate the pie and locate the few pieces of pepperoni that they used. If you like good pizza, this place is not for you. If you are a fan of limp flavorless pepperoni or you like Pappa John pizza, this may be OK.

I’ve had Doubles multiple times now, and it’s been consistently delicious. I get the $10 one topping carry out special, because I’m simple and enjoy just a good pepperoni pizza, and theirs is great. It’s always hot and fresh when I pick it up. Cheese is good quality. The crust is thin and flavorful but thick enough to hold the toppings. They don’t skimp with the pepperoni, and I love that they bake it until the edges are crisp. The sauce is delicious and has a hint of sweetness. They don’t put tons, so you may want to ask for extra if you like your pizza very saucy. This isn’t a dine in spot – no real seating inside, but I’m ok with that. Overall, great pizza that I’ll keep in my lunch/dinner rotation.

Doubles Pizza is one of Georgia’s best kept secrets. The only pizza that is consistent with service, cook times, pricing and just excellent customer care! The pizza is yummy and has a homemade taste. Where are we eating today?
Very good presentation. I ordered an extra large pizza with extra cheese. It was good. but as a suggestion the sauce was too sweet. I think they should change that.
