It was our first visit. I love baked French onion soup and eat it frequently. I ordered it here, and it was one of the best bowls I have had. It’s really good… The pub burgers were tasty. My wife, who is very particular with food, really liked the open face prime rib served rare. It was such a large serving that she had some to bring home. Our waitress was very nice and the order was perfect. It was affordable, and we will return at some point.

Got a delivery order from Shiffs and holy heck was it excellent!!! Can’t comment on the building or service since it was a delivery order but the driver was nice and quick and my food git to me fast so that was good! Said food was REALLY good, better than I was expecting! The mower sticks, wings and burger I got was made to my liking perfectly and if I had one complaint about anything it would probably be the fries could have been a little crisper! Aside from that though, Shiff gave me a great delivery order and I’d definitely get from them again if they retained that quality!

Great portions!! Excellent food. We had the farmhouse burger which was delicious!! The kids meals are perfect portions and they loved the cookies. The bone in chicken wings are great!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned!! The chili is fantastic. The french onion soup is perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive. A true diamond in the rough here in sheboygan!! We will definitely be back!!

It has been a while that we have been there . But tonight’s experience was on top. There is nothing better then having great dinner. We order a steak both of us….perfectly made!! We had French baked onion soup best baked soup in town. But what made our dinner so much better was having probably the best service we have ever experience..I wished I got his name but, he did everything right even ran out in the cold to bring us our food !!!!!

It’s a nice little spot but I wish it was closer to the lake. LoL. I got the perch dinner and it was great and the drinks were cold which is about all you can ask for. I will definitely be back. I say go.

Decided to eat here for a Friday dinner. We hadn’t been here in over a decade and to tell the truth we weren’t impressed the last time we ate here and for some reason we thought we’d stop back. The waitress was friendly enough. A party of 2 and we both ordered the Perch dinner. If you’re from the Sheboygan area, a Friday night fish fry Perch dinner means “LAKE PERCH” not OCEAN PERCH. I never gave it a second thought that when my fish fry came to the table that the fish was going to be ocean perch as virtually every restaurant in this area specifies ocean perch if they aren’t going to serve lake perch. The waitress placed our plates on the table, and I immediately asked her what kind of fish this was as I could tell it wasn’t lake perch. You could see in her facial expression that she’s been asked this same question before, and she gave a totally sheepish response. “It’s OCEAN PERCH’ and then totally didn’t want anything to do with more conversation. Granted, the menu just states “PERCH” but I find that totally misleading. Also, if you are using a credit card, they charge you a 3.75% NCA (non-cash adjustment) Who carries cash around anymore? There are NO signs that tells you this and the only way you know is at the bottom of the menu in fine print it’s revealed. At the end of the meal, we asked about dessert. Another joke, as if you want dessert you have to walk yourself up to the counter and pick one out. The stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. At the end of the meal, we asked for a receipt and of course it wasn’t itemized. Totally shady as we have no idea what the meal cost, and what their stupid NCA was. We will never come back here.

Service has taken a deep dive. Very slow, inattentive and at times rude. Food remains good but the bad service diminishes the experience. We were there on a Tuesday evening and was seated within 5 minutes. Got our drinks within 15 minutes and then placed our food order. Went over an hour without staff asking about our drinks or explaining the delay. When asked about the delay was met with defensive response but still no explanation. Eventually we went directly to the kitchen to voice our concerns and saw a large crew (7) working but was met with hostile looks. Our food came out right as we were getting up to leave so we stayed. Food was fine. We have been long term customers for several years but will not be returning.

Placed a to-go order for a couple steak sandwiches. Told could pickup in 10 minutes. Picked up order, paid the woman working the computer for it, but just after I pay and am handed the food she asks me if I had called another time earlier. I answer no….she then starts telling me a story that someone called earlier. She had told them to call back 10 minutes later because their computers were down and she claimed the person on the phone chuckled before hanging up which I gather she didn’t appreciate….She told me this in a rather passive-aggressive way with a mildly snarky tone like she thought it was me and wanted me to own up.

Soooo… I’m a trucker and ive been to 26 states in the past 2 months in search of a great cheesesteak sub made the way IIII like it. Ive had some serious failures that ive left at the table with disappointment in the ability to listen to my order and create it as i order. This place is no different. The so called cheesesteak comes on a hard roll and the meat patty(steak supposedly) taste like a bulk food store special. It was Luke warm and processed tasting… worst sandwich yet. I gave 2 stars because customer service was excellent and the establishment was nice and clean. Fries were hot and fresh which is what i focused on and enjoyed. I forced myself to eat that sandwich as i knew i didn’t want to be hungry later…. my advice use real steak and get rid of that processed patty that is not steak. Both waitress are awesome.
