I’ve been using Fresh City Kitchen for work-related catering needs for the last ~2 years. The food is great, always good portions and presented so nicely (and tasty too), but the service and attention to detail from the team sets them above and beyond your typical catering service. The packaging is thoughtful and the team is always more than willing to work with you to accommodate your needs and requests. They’re perfect for board meetings when I need consistency and on-time delivery but also ideal for a last-minute team lunch. Last week, we held our company picnic and right when the delivery was due, we were hit with torrential downpours and a thunderstorm. When the delivery arrived, the driver was so patient and assured me he wasn’t in a rush and waited for the rain to calm down but still made the effort to set up for me in the drizzle. Their newsletters highlight different team members and they have a charitable program where you can donate your rewards point to a food bank if you’re a regular customer… I love everything about their business and know I can count on them to make my job 1000x easier. Decently healthy option for a rest stop! The worker was super nice and accommodating. The food was yummy and fresh! The vegetables were crispy and delicious. I would get extra peanut sauce on the Thai bowl if I ordered it again. She even picked out the mushrooms for me!

Food is prepared as ordered; clean dining area and ladies restroom. I tried the rice bowl with Thai sauce. Can’t say the sauce was truly Thai, but food was well prepared.

Decent, healthy alternatives to the rest of the road food at this turnpike joint. The Napa Valley sandwich was pretty good. Service was slow because there was only one person and a bit of a line, but he did a good job of preparing the food. The offerings are pricey, but that’s what you should expect on northeastern turnpike pull offs!

It’s hard to find relatively healthy food eating out. It’s even harder to find a quick bite to eat eating out. This place has a pretty good selection at reasonable prices and you can have the food cooked fresh in about 5 minutes. I almost always get the stir fry with lo mein chicken shrimp and my choice of vegetables. They cook it fresh with your choice of sauce I always pick teriyaki. There’s everything from salads to sandwiches to shakes… there’s a lot of options in this place. To be honest this place is 4 stars in terms of taste. The unfortunate truth is you’re never going to get 5 Star deliciousness when you’re eating healthy but because you’re eating healthy and FAST, they deserve 5 stars.
