I love this place! Their happy hour deals are awesome (1/2 price fishbowl margaritas), the staff is friendly, and their food is delicious. On this particular visit, every bite was perfect. Maybe it was the beautiful weather and sipping a margarita on their patio.

Only giving a 3 overall because of the food. The atmosphere and service were great. The tortilla chips and salsa were good as well. But, the main courses were entirely disappointing. I’ve been wanting to go to Mezcal for a long time. The reviews and testimonials seemed good/great. If we’re talking atmosphere and service then, yes. Entrees, not so much. My party was 5 people and we were dumping salt and hot sauce on our food for flavor. Mexican food should have flavor. Every dish was a pile of peppers and onions with a little bit of meat buried underneath. And we all got something different.

Had such a bad experience. First of all the place was about 1/4 full and the hostess leads us to a booth that has a big rip in the vinyl on the seat. Some in my party wearing shorts so I request another booth and she leads us further back in the restaurant – 2 tables from the kitchen and rest room, when the whole place is nearly empty. The servers were nice and efficient. The chips and guac made to order were delicious. But four in my party, and only one meal was good. The quesadilla was made with American cheese. The fish tacos were very salty (and I love salt!) and an odd color of pink/red. The beans and rice were not good either. I ate 2 bites of the food. I think the servers knew it was bad because no one mentioned that I didn’t eat, they just took my plate and said no more. Don’t waste your money on this establishment.

Big bold flavor that you want from this type of food, In an area lacking in bold flavor. Great staff. Wonderful atmosphere. The only reason for the 4 star is that my drink was not properly blended. Large ice chunks make it hard to drink. Otherwise all around a great experience.

Very good Mexican food at an unassuming strip mall location. I had some simple carnitas tacos and they were excellent. Just a lot of meat, corn tortillas, and salsa. Super delicious. The horchata was awesome, maybe just a touch too sweet for me, but my daughter loved it.

Awesome spot for a quick bite, and good service. House margaritas are great, and their menu photos are impressively accurate. We sat at the bar which has comfy chairs, but there’s also a lot of booths and tables for group dining. Our bartenders didn’t chat much, but they got everything right on our orders and were very attentive. 5 stars all day.
