Since it’s beginning in 2013, Sole has been a small Italian restaurant providing authentic and traditional dishes from Italy. We always offer our customers new dishes and wines to keep our customers eager for their future visits. We do recommended making reservations ahead of time, especially for Friday and Saturday.

A delicious culinary destination tucked away on a fun little side street in San Mateo. The food here is fresh and bright. I’ve visited a dozen times over the years and never been disappointed. My favorites are the special dishes they have every day but also the regular items like pork tenderloin and spaghetti with meatballs. The desserts are yummy and they have an extensive wine list.

Love this place! The friendliest, authentic Italian-American welcome They have delicious food on the menu – we loved the bruschettas, caprese salad and truffle gnocchi. But they also will take requests from the “secret menu” – i usually ask for Eggplant Parmesan, they usually have it and it is the most delicious i’ve ever tasted! This place is a must-go if you’re in San Mateo (or even witin a 25 mile radius ) Easy street parking right in front. Nice quiet patio at the back too.

Patio is fantastic. Heated and right in the middle of things. Perfect for people watching. Fungi risotto was amazing. We got some dressed melon that was fantastic. And Italian style digestives at the end of dinner!

Such a clean,delightful small ristorante with friendly service and delicious food! I devoured my rack of lamb ( shown here) with delicious potatoes broccoli and some tasty medallions of yellow squash/zucchini .The sauce was from raspberries and did not overwhelm with a fruity berry taste
