I had the birria tacos with consume this past weekend and it was great! I just ordered them again because I gave my daughter a taste last and she was sold! Well the consume was nothing but oil. Seriously…STRAIGHT OIL! And it had way too much coriander. Whoever the cook was that made it or tried to extend it…no. Please stick to juices, broth and seasonings. And the kitchen team on Saturday afternoon? They’re the real deal!

The chicken tacos are good. Don’t get the steak tacos, the steak meat is way too dry and tough. The refried are good, but the rice is somewhat undercooked. The service is ok. They keep messing up our orders. One time they tried to give me steak tacos when I told the lady I ordered chicken tacos. She disagreed with me and said, ” No, you ordered the steak tacos.” I said I did not. Why are we arguing here. Isn’t the customer always right. The last straw was today when we ordered a side a refried beans and got the undercooked rice instead. I didn’t want to drive all the way back. So, we are done with place. We will not be back

This place is a true hidden gem in Plainfield! Would never expect tacos from a location inside a gas station to be this awesome! 10/10 on the Asada, Pollo, and Carnitas tacos – and their guacamole and homemade chips are some of the best I’ve had in the suburbs!! Would recommend to anyone with a craving for high-quality Mexican food!
