The lady at the counter was so courteous and attentive. The portions were huge and delicious so we had our leftovers for dinner. Great value and great food!

Just stopped in to get a taste of Hawaiian bbq. I had the pulled pork and the flavor was amazing!! No sauce required.

Did you know L&L was created in 1952 in a small shop in Liliha and the founders – Johnson Kam and Eddie Flores, Jr. – introduced their signature, Asian and American fusion take on the classic plate lunch to residents. Today there are over 200 all over the world and Market City is my favorite location.

Fast service, always clean. Cashiers are quick to take your order. I consumed a spam fried rice for a good price.

Lemon Chicken was cremated – to dry from over cooking. The dog ate it. Teriyaki steak was some of the best I’ve ever had. I requested no rice/Mac salad so my food was on a bed of salad. That impressed me. I’ll go there another time for Teriyaki but have a second choice to go with it.

Purposely shortchanged me 50 cents. The Fried Fish plate is $14.50. I gave her $20 cash expecting $5.50 change. She gave me only $5.00. On the receipt it said paid exactly $14.50, not $20 with change due. I didn’t realized this until I left the restaurant. She’s “nickel and dime” stealing from customers, a little here a little there, it adds up.

This is a local gem. Every local grabs a plate lunch here for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Locations all over the islands. Try the “loco Moco” if you want to eat like the locals do. Their kalua pig and cabbage is also really good.
