This place is classic, unfortunately these type of lodges are becoming rarer in the United States. I love to see that Aspen mountain still has an independently owned restaurant on its mountain, this one in particular is quite good.

Asked a local where to eat on the mountain and was promptly told to go to Bonnie’s and get the cheesesteak and apfel strudel. Both were very good for on the mountain food. Prices are high but hey it’s skiing and Aspen so you sort of expect it. Friendly staff…recommended

Delicious and hearty skiing food. The Bratwurst with sauerkraut and the Reuben Sandwich are both delicious. If you feel like a sweet treat, the apple strudel is excellent. The staff are super friendly giving Bonnie’s a fun atmosphere.
