Great view and great fish tacos – definitely sit on the deck facing the sea and you’ll love all that you take in – its a good spot to watch the sun set and wonder why so many oil rigs are just out in the ocean – a fascinating barge-life too when you see these things coming in or in line to dock – enjoy it here – its special – thank you Tidewater tavern – your staff is wonderful

Came by this place for a post ride beer. Saw the reviews about the fish tacos and thought “no way״, because the tacos other diners had looked so bland. I ordered one and was pleasantly surprised. Best fish taco I’ve had in San Diego!!

Had a great saturday afternoon meal at this local tavern and grill. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. Fried Calamari steak appetizer is a must. Tastey entrees, friendly service. I didnt enjoy the ice tea though. Would recommend this for family, friends, or couples-went to fletcher cove and walked beach afterwards.

This place is just what its name says. It’s a restaurant that serves bar food and is located near the beach. The food is decent and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately you can’t see the ocean from here, but the restaurant is open air style so you can enjoy the beach, air and sun. Dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant, however, the patio extends outside and so you can have your dog with you next to the table while you eat. They have a great selection of cocktails here as well.
