For a place that is all about chicken, I was suprised by how weird their chicken tasted. I don’t know if it’s a spice or, but the actual chicken had a weird taste. I got the Nibblerz and found a piece of blue plastic in one of my chickens. Fries were good. This is the first time I’ve eaten at a Zaxby’s and will be the last, not because of the plastic but because of the weird taste of the chicken.

This chicken is the juicest chicken from any chicken restaurant i have ever had! This place gets super high praise for its chicken alone. However, everything else is subpar. The fries are very mediocre, but when i got them, they tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, and they were aboit room temperature. The coleslaw is very water-y. If you’re into that, then you’ll love this slaw. However, im not about that. The most disappointing part of this meal is by far the “toast” if you can even call it toast. I’m almost certain it is just a piece of dollar store white bread that they put on the stove till it smells burned. Compared to the toast at places like Canes, I can’t even make eye contact with Zaxby’s toast without feeling uncomfortable. Even with how disappointing the rest of the meal is, the chicken is incredible and single handedly gets Zaxby’s a 5 star rating. The Zax sauce is pretty good, too. Another complaint I have is the last 2 times I went here there was a problem with the speaker playing music that caused it to make an obnoxious rapid popping noise that kind of sounds like a late round of Bloons Tower Defense. It’s not too expensive compared to other chicken places, I would say overall Zaxby’s falls just short of Canes and Chick-fil-A due to the underwhelmingness of the sides.

Yesterday we visited Zaxby’s for the first time. I must say the service was exceptional. Our cashier Andrew was so knowledgeable and helpful. Extremely great customer service and the Zaxby’s sauce is awesome. So were the other sauces but my kids loved the Zaxby’s sauce. Everything was was great. Highly recommend stopping here..

I wanted to come try this place out since I was let down by Raising Canes the other day. I heard zaxbys is the next best thing to a chicken place. This place is by far worse. I got the boneless wings and things plate. My boneless wings were hard as rocks, my chicken fingers were super old, and my fries were disgusting. They even burnt the toast. It was not worth the amount of money we paid here and it is very unacceptable… staff was rude at the drive thru when I asked about recommendations on their menu… I do not recommend coming here, save your money.

They have really good chicken and their variety of sauces is awesome! I love their sauce for their strips more than any other chicken place! Service here is ok but the restaurant itself has been a bit dirty a few times I’ve been in.

Much better than Raising Canes in my opinion. I’ve tried both tons of times over the years. Try a chicken finger plate with all fries instead of coleslaw. I usually get a side of the buffalo garlic blaze sauce and 2 ranches. Zax sauce is really good as well.

Felt really bad for the new girl who was working by herself. I went in to claim a free big snax box and the reader wouldn’t accept my qr code. She couldn’t figure it out and people were lining up at the drive through window. I ordered on the app instead and it went through. Sadly though when I got my food it was already cold. Not sure how that happened when I was sitting 20 feet from the counter. All in all I probably won’t be going back unless the meal is free again.
