Shahi Darbar cuisine consists of dishes developed in the medieval Indo-Persian world at the centers of the Mughal Empire. It represents a combination of South Asian cuisine with the cooking styles and recipes of Central Asian and Iranian cuisine. Our cuisine is strongly influenced by the Persian-ate and Turkic cuisine of Central Asia, the region where the early Turko-Mongol Mughal emperors originally hailed from, and it has in turn strongly influenced the regional cuisines of modern Northern India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The tastes vary from extremely mild to spicy and are often associated with a distinctive aroma and the taste of ground and whole spices.

This is without a doubt a must-go spot. It serves extremely good food at an affordable price. I recommend the chicken burger as it is without a doubt the best chicken burger in the entirety of the Jackson Heights area. I left work about 3 times to buy chicken curry with the bread they make, I think it’s called Nam, I had no complaints about the food but the attendance is very bad, it shows that they treat you differently because of Hispanics, today was my last time In that place, I tried to order a simple chicken curry with bread and those who attended almost ignored me without any empathy and told me in half an hour, when they had the chicken ready to serve and put the bread in the oven, they don’t even take 5 minutes. you feel discrimination and that’s why I don’t recommend this.

I had the lamb chops with saffron rice, beans, and mashed potato. This meal was really good! The best thing about this meal was the mashed potato. It was really soft with a rich buttery flavor. Everyone should definitely give this place a try!

I used to love their muglai. Always had chicken and now it’s just filled with onions and a tiny bit of egg. It was awful. I wasted my money. NEVER GONNA GET MUGLAI FROM THEM AGAIN. Wish I could get my money back.
