Awesome little Asian food restaurant in downtown st. Joseph. Super cute and absolutely DELICIOUS food! It’s hibachi style were you buld your own bowl with fresh veggies, noodles, and meats and they cook it fresh right there. So so so recommend, have never had a bad experience

Wow!!! We liked it so much that decided to not only have a dinner but also a lunch the next day. Our 7 y.o kid loved it too and ate it all. Lots of veggies, amazing choice of sauces, fast, and delicious. We like places with excellent service and experience. Being part of the experience and seeing the food preparation process is what we were looking for. P.S. I ordered Demi wine , highly recommend.

This was a unique place to get a bite to eat. You personally fill your bowl with raw ingredients, and then you can watch them cook it on a flattop grill by the window. They have great sauces to choose from in which your food is sauteed. I wish they would have sauteed my food some more so it has more char marks on it. It was pretty good. But the freshly grilled flatbread that accompanies each bowl is the best part. I could have eaten those all day. Dishes were pricey. Adult portions were $18/bowl, but our kids’ bowl was a better deal at $6. Atmosphere is lacking and could use a renovation, but the full experience combined to make it a place that we would go back to!

Neat, casual restaurant. Great explanation from our server of how it all works. Enjoyable experience. I love that they cook food for those with food allergies separately. Gluten free noodles and sauces were labeled; however, the sauces were dripped all over the counter, so I know the sauces that were not gluten free were dripped in those that were. For the restaurant, a suggestion: place all gluten free sauces either in the back or, better yet, separately.

Loved the atmosphere and cute location, waitress was very friendly and informative. A wide selection of vegetables and proteins (though I couldn’t find tofu and was too shy to ask lol) and very tasty vermicelli noodles. It was filling and I had to take the rest of my food to go, on the first plate. I really appreciate the little sticks that customers are asked put in their bowl to avoid cross contamination when its cooking. The restaurant was lively and it seemed like the staff were able to keep up with all the busy energy quite well.

I enjoyed Tim’s Too very much. I had a similar experience at a restaurant called Flat Top back in Chicago. They turn individual ingredients into delicious stir fry. I enjoyed my meat being grilled and added into the stir fry with other fresh vegetables. I enjoyed my meal with a side of rice and bread. Gotta try!

First time ordering and it was a very bad experience. My crab ragoon had no crab in it fried to hard to even eat. We didn’t get are beef and broccoli instead we got some kind of fried rice with vegetables. As much as the food cost it should of been what we ordered. Will never eat or order from here again.

Ambience is good. Option for creating your own food or choosing from the chef inspired menu, either way, you pay the same price. Staff is good. Service is fast.
