Stopped by here on our way through, honestly quite disappointing. The catfish hardly had any meat, mostly just breading. Very salty. Added a pic of the sandwich ate on so you could see all the breading and lack of meat. The customer service was not great….. but maybe he was just having a day.

My french fries were burnt, this IS NOT French bread, it’s a hot dog bun. My fingers went straight through their “French bread” that’s thin like a paper. Can I get a refund? I’m never will pay for food here again….

The food was visually appealing and set up so neatly on the plate. It wasn’t messy or dripping everywhere. It was absolutely delicious! %great. Good bless the cooks in the kitchen. Very polite young lady who waited on me. My only critique would be changing the interior and exterior of the place. Make it more up to date and inviting to all members of the community.

Really good chicken and sausage gumbo! Brisket is good as well as the ham or turkey swiss. Friendly service. Clean. Only reason I did 4 instead of 5 stars is ventilation it was just a tad smoky inside. Very easy to get to off I-49 – if you are passing through and looking for a local joint this would be one to put at the top of the list.

Such a great experience! Our server Alyssa was so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the fried catfish dinner with fried catfish, mashed potatoes, green beans and a dinner roll and the fried chicken cordon bleu sandwich with fries. I’ve never had fried catfish nearly this good EVER and the fried chicken cordon bleu sandwich was jam packed with so much flavor! We also had the St. Charles white chocolate latte which was also super amazing!! The atmosphere of this fine establishment was very relaxing and reminded us of New Orleans so much. We only wish that we could give more than five stars! Will be returning soon!

There were no paper towels, but lots of flies and full garbage in both restrooms. We told the staff, and they said they were waiting on someone to come take care of it. I feel he should have gone in the restroom and taken out the garbage right away. My nephew asked for some soap and was told, wait I’ll have to find some. I wondered where the staff washed?
