Went for breakfast with the family. Had an excellent waitress by the name of Brenda who was very attentive to our needs. She made some recommendations about a few drinks and meals. She was spot on with everything we ordered. We had a Bloody Mary which was SOO good! The place was clean and in a very nice spot across the street from the lake! We will definitely be back to enjoy breakfast again!!!

Have been there twice. The food was good but the portions were small. Was surprised for the price it did not include a side salad like most restaurants. The brussel sprouts were excellent. The Shepard pie was done with steak not hamburger which was s nice touch. We also had breakfast there. Breakfast portions were much larger.

Stopped in at Waves today and got the $6 lunch special and some apple cider donuts. I had the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato and it was fantastic. The cider donuts were amazing. The service was good and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I was very pleased with my lunch.

Such a wonderful experience every time we come in. Staff is always extremely friendly and genuine. Restaurant had many customers tonight and staff was super accommodating and went out of their way to make sure every customer was acknowledged upon arrival. This restaurant is thriving and fun and can’t think of one thing i would change about it. On top of that food is delicious and great choices on tap!!!

Love this fun restaurant just up the street from Lake Pocotopaug! Really cool atmosphere, nice decor and an attentive staff… and the FOOD is amazing!!! The breakfast alone is worth a visit to WAVES- my kids loved their French toast and pancakes and my wife and I had a savory breakfast of eggs and home fries and bacon and toast. I also had the hash which was dynamite! This is one of those places that you have to check out- skip the chains and hit the WAVES!!

Nice atmosphere Very SLOW service. A long story but will make it short. Two orders one fish sandwich one fish and chips with mashed potato substitute for fries.. We were told by kitchen not enough fish for both orders. So one diner cancels sandwich. Fish and chips come with FRIES and the size of breading, half the plate, gave false impression that there was an equal amount of fish as well. NOT. If the breading was 8 oz, then the fish was between 1/2 and 1 oz. This was a chef’s embarrassment. There may have been 3 morsels 1/2 the size of my small finger. Unbelievable!!!!!

Decent, burger was good, wings had way too much sauce on them and they were very small wings. Edit 10/13 below on 2nd visit.

Terrible, terrible service. Food was subpar. Limited menu..Waited 40 minutes for an order of wings, came out cold. Waited another 45 minutes for our “entree”, which was a cheeseburger and Ruben… This was the second chance for this place as I had a similar experience here before.. never again..
